Episode 7.5
Dezzy's flying without Ewings

Shaun couldn't speak, She had been told Dezzy had died but there he stood before her.

Dezzy: I've never stunned anyone into silence before, Given my current state of nakedness I don't know whether that's good or bad.
He joked.
Dezzy: Any word on that towel?
She passed him a towel.
Shaun: You're alive?
Dezzy: I'm pretty sure I am unless this is a very underwhelming heaven.
She just blinked and carried on staring.
Dezzy: I've got a bone to pick with you and everyone else, I was in hospital for two days and the only visitor I had was Jack.
Shaun: Jack?
She remembered the last few words of her conversation with him before the signal was lost, he was trying to tell her something about Dezzy and he seemed quite confused when she mentioned he was dead.
Shaun: We were told you died!
Dezzy: Well that's technically true, but for a few seconds. Not long enough to announce it though, I'm guessing whoever told you made a mistake.
Shaun: Oh.
A sense of relief flooded through her, He wasn't dead.
Shaun: I'm overjoyed to see you're okay but shouldn't you be in the hospital? It's only been two days.
Dezzy: Well they patched me up and told me to rest and I decided I could do that in the comfort of my own home but the police are still crawling all over it so you're dad is letting me stay for a few days.
Once her initial shock had subsided she took in Dezzy's injuries. He had a stitched up cut across his cheek and his leg was a similar story except for his foot. Dezzy took off the protective covering to reveal his cast. Finally she saw bandage wrapped around Dezzy's chest that covered the bullet wound. He really had been through the mill.

They continued the talk after he got dressed.
Shaun: have you talked to the police yet?
Dezzy: Yeah, last night. Couldn't help much though, A lot of things have become quite foggy since I woke up in Hospital. I can't even recall his face.
He went quiet for a moment.
Dezzy: I guess some things are better off forgotten.
Shaun was at a loss to what to say. She decided instead to offer him a cup of tea. As she walked out the room he called out to her.
Dezzy: Thanks for Everything Shaun, you're a good friend. You're secret is safe with me.

Episode 8
Hidden Dangers

Shaun was getting ready for school, it had been a few days since Dezzy arrived at her house and revealed that he knew her secret which he accidentally overheard from Jack during one of his visits. She was relieved that he wasn't going to tell anyone but also annoyed at Jack for being careless. She grabbed her bag and said bye to Dezzy before heading out. As she walked to her car she felt as though someone was watching her. She looked around but the street was empty, she still felt a little paranoid but carried on with what she was doing.

As she left, a person walked out from behind the bushes near her house.

??????: Soon Natalya, Soon.

Gary was in the school bathrooms, she made sure it was empty before reaching into her bag and pulling out the pills she had stolen from Mark. She grabbed a few from the bottle and stared at them in her hand before swallowing them all down. She sighed a sigh of relief, she'll be able to get through today now. She jumped as she heard the door open and stuffed away the pills into her bag.

Mark: Hi! I didn't see you this morning.
Gary: Yeah I left early.
Mark touched up her makeup in the mirror and Gary followed suit.
Mark: Are you entering that Talent Competition? It's this Friday,
Gary: I haven't thought about it, probably not though.
Mark: You should, it'll be fun and it'll take your mind off things.
Gary: Maybe. You're probably right..
They finished up and walked out into the corridor, The were happily talking until Gary bumped into Zee.

Gary: Get the hell out of my way Christopher Reeve! Glare/.
Zee looked dejected before going the opposite way, when they were out of sight he got out his phone.

Lili was making herself a margarita, these past few days had been tough on her, when her phone rang She ignored it for a while until she saw who it was.

Zee: This can't go on.
Lili: Hello to you too.
Things had been weird between them since that night.
Zee: I'm serious, I'm worried for Gary. I've never seen her like this before.
Lili: She won't return my calls I go to Mark's house but she refuses to see me. I don't know what to do.
Zee: I'll keep an eye on her, She's got nothing but insults for me but she can't escape me at school.
Lili: Thanks Zee.
Zee: Yeah, well I gotta go to class. I uh...love you.

Shaun and Jen were in the Library studying but Jen couldn't concentrate.
Shaun: What's up gurl?
Jen: It's nothing,
Shaun: It's something, every time I try to read Hamlet you click your tongue, it's like being friends with a fucking typewriter. Is it Nathan?
Jen: No...It's Lemonjam.
Shaun: Oh, you finally did something then and it didn't go well?
Jen: I think he likes me but he's pulling away and I don't know why.
Shaun: He's been acting quite odd since he got the letter.
Jen: What letter.
Shaun: He got a letter a few weeks back, not sure what it was about though he wouldn't say.
Jen: You don't think...he's ill?....
Shaun: Oh no nothing like that it wasn't a medical letter. You're better off asking him about it he'll probably tell you if you asked him.
Jen thought about it for a while before going back to her studies.

Shaun looked at her phone, she had told Jack about the incident this morning, she felt silly for calling him over a hunch but her hunches have a tendency to be right. She was certain there was someone watching her, she went through the possibilities. It couldn't be Patrick since he was taken away and it couldn't be Darenn or Jack as they would let her know. Jack hadn't got back to her yet so she considered the possibility of there being some sort of security detail in place for Dezzy or herself. She couldn't draw any conclusions for the moment so she carried on reading Hamlet.

Wombai: You're not going anywhere, exams are coming up you need to study.
It was Zee's free period and he had planned to go see Lili as they really needed to figure things out but as soon as he reached the gates Wombai had seen him.

Zee: Mom I'll literally be 10 minutes, I'm just gonna grab a textbook from home.
Wombai: Can't you borrow a copy from the library? Which subject is it? I can get one for you if you like.
Zee said the first thing that came to his head.
Zee: It's biology.
Wombai grimaced and became tense, Zee had noticed this before whenever anything linked to Stu was mentioned but he didn't know why.
Wombai: Okay you can go but BE QUICK.
She walked away and Zee quickly sped out the gates. Stu had seen this scene unfold from his classroom window, he had been wondering for a while why Zee was constantly leaving the school and decided to take this opportunity to find out. He was overstepping the boundaries Wombai had been put in place but something was going on here and he wasn't going to let anything happen to Zee.

Jack: And you don't know who it was?
Shaun had recounted what had happened this morning to Jack when he called back,
Shaun: No, I've gone over all the possibilities but I couldn't think of a reasonable explanation.
Jack: Are you sure it wasn't anyone to do with what happened in Russia?
Shaun: No, I haven't seen my sister in years and Darenn wouldn't tell anyone where I was, They are the only two people who know I'm here.
She paused a moment.
Shaun: Could it be someone related to Patrick? Like a friend or family member trying to intimidate us?
Jack: Probably not, his only family are his parents and they're here with him and he wasn't the type to have friends. This business with Patrick is over now, he can't hurt anyone anymore.

He was sitting in an office waiting to be seen, he had spent the past few days only staring at four walls so it felt strange for him to be in a different place. There was an Ipod that had been left on the desk be whoever owned this office and it had been left on. He heard parts of the songs blaring out from the earphones but he was too far away to tell what song it was.
I'll live for you.......

???????: Ah you're early! Good at time keeping I see although you might not have had much choice in the matter really.
A doctor had entered the room, he seemed quite cheerful and upbeat but the patient felt wary of him.
???????: So Patrick You tried to kill a classmate?
He looked through a file he was holding.
???????: Dezzy huh? I don't blame you I'd do the same if I had the chance.
He said quietly, his demeanor had changed and Patrick was creeped out by the man's sudden change.
???????:...Not that it's the right thing to do of course.
He became cheerful again, it was like he had two personalities that he could flick between like a switch.
???????:....He has too many friends for that, I saw them at the hospital when I told them he died. It was cruel I know but it was fun.
I'll die for you
???????: You'll have to kill them first.
He switched back to that darker side. Patrick was silent, he didn't know what to say.
???????: You're innocent Patrick, Dezzy and his friends are the villains here. I can plainly see these allegations are lies, I'll see to it that you are released, you didn't mean to hurt him you were only defending yourself after years of his bullying.....They all need to pay.
Do what you want me to
Patrick: I'm not sure I want to....
???????: Nonsense! You need to do this! Do this for me and you'll be free forever.
...........I can't let you go
Patrick: You mean, I'll stay here otherwise?
The doctor nodded, he switched back to nice mode.
???????: Oh how rude of me I never introduced myself, I'm Doctor ILoveDC I'm going to be your psychiatrist for the foreseeable future....
