The best Exit poll is at 10PM tonight
and done by 3 main UK Channels United
SkyNews/BBCNews/ITVNews

Spike 06-05-2010 04:40 PM

The exit poll will be very interesting.
I don't think it will be as accurate as previous years though given the nature of this election.

30stone 06-05-2010 04:45 PM

Oh please talk sense.

We are currently borrowing more money than Greece to keep the country afloat. Obviously this cannot go on, whichever party ends up leading the Government will have to make drastic cuts otherwise the countries economy will collapse.

At least the tories have been more open than Labour about the fact things will have to change in the public sector. If you think labour werent planning similar savage cuts to come in shortly after the election, you must be living in cloud cuckoo land.

Incidentally the last time the tories came into power after a labour government it was labour who had ruined the economy then. A fact you always seem to conveniently forget.

I presume around midnight-ish. I'm not sure though.

Callum 06-05-2010 07:28 PM

When does the new prime minister move in to 10 Downing Street?

Chels 06-05-2010 07:37 PM

i'm not staying up for it, screw dat i'm actually going to school tommorow.

Stacey. 06-05-2010 07:38 PM

i'll still be up by midnight but not downstairs. might have to look it up on the internet :D

Lucy. 06-05-2010 07:39 PM

I still think it's going to be a hung parliament, surely there's no way any of them will get enough seats for leadership.

Beastie 06-05-2010 07:40 PM

I think the results start being counted and that at around midnight.. won't get a final result until Friday morning.

Chels 06-05-2010 07:42 PM

i just asked my dad if he's voted.
his reply: "OH SH*T!!!" lmfao

Spike 06-05-2010 07:52 PM

If the votes are in a box, how can there be rumours? surely no one knows as they are in a box?

Stacey. 06-05-2010 08:07 PM

Its a rumour from the exit poll. This is wide scale poll conducted by Sky News, ITV News and the BBC which asks a random selection of people who they voted for after they exit the polling station.
It usually gives an indication on the way the results will go but with the nature of this election the accuracy might not be so spot on
