I'm pleased it's between these two.

This isn't a Big Brother series though, this is Ultimate Big Brother just as Celebrity Big Brother is different from the normal series.

It is kind of refreshing though.

Why are you using Mario's name? That's kind of strange.

I know it's like a spinoff.
Still though, having said that it's a nice change from always having a woman out first.

Not quite as shameful as Chris, Goldie, or Hasan... but still technically joining the male out-first club.

I want it to be Coolio... but I think it'll be John

Could be the real Mario perhaps....or just a big fan?

Would like Coolio to go, just dont like him.

dannyboy 27-08-2010 10:17 AM

It is rather bizarre that all the main BB series had a woman out first. Well, in BB7 Shahbaz left the house first didn't he, althought it wasn't an eviction. BB6 was so random, cos it was all up to Makosi who was put up. If she had stayed with her original nominations, and put up Roberto and Anthony (the two she voted for initially) then a man would've been out first! D'oh.

I didnt want noms. I wanted them all up for eviction and five leave.

Every male first evictee

Every male first evictee has been black/coloured. I know there's not many, but no male first evictees have ever been white. And it looks like Coolio will be 1st out tonight, so the trend will still remain unless John gets the boot. Just an observation

smudgie 27-08-2010 08:19 PM

Will he be the first American male as well? Just wondering.:joker:

LaLaLand 27-08-2010 08:21 PM

Who else were first out? Is it just Chris Eubank and Goldie (I think...)?

Jarvio 27-08-2010 08:21 PM

Yes I think he will lol

Chris Eubank and Goldie = English
Hasan = Asian

So yes.

Infact, will he be the first american to go first altogether? Regardless of gender?

BBfan46 27-08-2010 08:46 PM

Get over these conspiracies, Coolio's being evicted because he's a wanker not because he's black or a male.

No...they'll just say the vote was rigged to disprove the theory!

My god, why put words in my mouth?

It's no 'conspiracy' - if you read my post, it says at the end 'just an observation'. And that's all it is, simple.

But anyway, John went first anyway, so the trend has been broken lol

luminoussun 28-08-2010 02:43 PM

haha you had a good point...then it sort of fell off a cliff

mlomax 28-08-2010 02:44 PM

but tbh.. John is black from dirt.. So the conspiracy can live on ? :D

There was never a man out first

Doesn't anyone else find that messed up? That in UK BB (Celeb version not included), 11 series and a woman was the first evictee EVERY time? My god, not even one man went first!

I find this very strange. I mean ok, many women are hated by much of the female voting public - I get that. But howcome there hasn't been men only facing eviction in week one? This I can't get, and I thought it would have at least happened once out of all 11 series.

In US BB, out first is almost 50-50 split with each gender. So it only seems to be the UK that has this problem.... (is there even a public vote in the US version though)?

Also, a question....
If a man was to ever go first in UK BB, how do you think they would take it? I personally would be DEVASTATED if I was the first man to go first in UK BB history. If a woman goes first, then at least she would have plenty of other women to relate to. But if a man went first, he would have NOBODY in the history of UK BB to relate to.... surely that would be terrible for the man?

Jordan. 17-02-2011 04:10 PM

The tradition of it always been a woman out first probably helped towards the last few years.

I find it odd how it had to be a 'tradition' though. It never had to be a tradition. I mean, many women outperformed many men in BB. Example, Kris being evicted over 3 women in BB10. But why didn't things like this happen on the very first week ever?

Jarvio 17-02-2011 04:17 PM

So a question to men only: If you went on UK BB and ended up being voted out first, thus becoming the first ever male out first in uk BB history, how would you feel?
