Some people choose to go by their middle name. My parents always called me Kerry-Ann. Rarely Kerry

Its just a name we choose to be confirmed with, its a bit pointless though because they dont ever get used :joker:

:laugh2: In Ireland you don't have to prove anything, you just practise in the church and do it on the day. I didn't have a choice though, when I was born I almost died so I was baptised and confirmed when I was just a newborn baby, when I was 11 then I still got to choose a name and go to the ceremony but I wasn't confirmed, I just got a blessing when the confirmations were done.

Unfortunately, I always say Josephine Senga if anyone asks. I've done that for over 3 decades so it is just an automatic that pops in my head and comes out my mouth.

Unfortunately I did this at a rather important job interview!
