I didn't think it would do that well. I don't even think it's in my fave ten movies of last year.

I loved Social Network but I was hoping Black Swan would get Best Picture, it's a brilliant film.

Hans Zimmer score for Inception should have won hands down

Social Network had good score but the best music in the film was a cover of In the Hall of the Mountain King, no matter how good a cover it not technically ORIGINAL and the award is best ORIGINAL score

I agree in regards to Hans Zimmer winning. The Inception score was brilliant and gave me chills at one point in the film, not many film scores can leave that effect on me.

I think the HFP probably avoided Inception on purpose so as to avoid pandering to the obvious + mainstream
