This.

Well this was obviously going to happen... with the direction Desmond is taking Channel Five, Big Brother totally fits the bill. I'm pretty sure we'll get a series this year. The house is there, coz the extended the lease, all they've got to do is cast, plan & redo the house. That's beside revamping the **** out of the format.

Think about it, it takes ages to do the house up especially when the house is completely tore apart inside, at least in previous years they had a fair base because the rooms where still there.

Auditions take ages to plan, advertise, narrow down etc

I can't see us getting BB12 this year, sadly.
It'd be so rushed, ESPECIALLY if he wants to extend it.

It'd run waay into September because it wouldn't start until July or something.

In a way, I want there to be one ASAP but if it was on next year, we'd finally be on track instead of constantly being one year behind the series.

Example:

2008, Big Brother 9.
2009, Big Brother 10.

It'll be:

2012, Big Brother 12 :p

tbh you can't really determine what a fauxmance is, people said JJJ was one, and 6 months down the line they're still together

Meh.

Brian Dowling maybe as he's good with interviews and he's the most popular housemate of all time.

But I just couldn't take him seriously when delivering the news about who is going home.

I want Caroline Flack, but that's my cock speaking.

Emma... Meh I can't really see her giving the 'BB House.. This Is Emma...' Speech that well.

I mean actually, I wonder if they'll even keep that [if this is true] because it just wouldn't sound the same the whole 'Big Brother House You Are Live on Channel 5, This Is ________' thing.

This.
They should just spend less time on them then, like in BB6 when Maxwell and Saskia were together the whole show wasn't about them.

In BB9 the whole show wasn't about Luke and Bex.

We just saw enough time of them to like/hate them same goes for other romances.
In BB11 Josie and John were SHOVED down our throats.

It ruined John's chances because he was a legendary housemate and should of won, but she dragged him down the cow.

LMFAO.

Dude about 6 people walked out of BB11 and that was on for like just over 11 Weeks.

There's going to be tons of walk outs.

I think I must be one of the rare ones that actually enjoyed the John James and Josie thing, it was obvious from the beginning and I could tell it was for the cameras. Unlike Sophie and Kris when that was blatantly obvious and was more transparent than my bedroom windows. Although, I do agree that they we far to heavily focused on, perhaps they were struggling to get more material to make up the full hour?

Anway, Channel Five would surely give them alcohol on tap, so it makes for better viewing. A guy owning porn channels will want the sh1t to fly.

She didn't drag him down, he wanted her to win and sacrificed himself plus he had his angry moments but he was hypocritical regarding criticising Rachael for doing photoshoots then he did them straight after the show...

Davina definetly won't be the presenter but I like a presenter who is genuinely a Big Brother fan and has passion for the show, Emma proved on BBLB with her knowledge on the quiz about all series she knew what she was on about and connected with contestants well on her interviews IMO.

George clearly wasn't a fan, had snide digs and was there for the money plus I think Davina was clearly reading off a script as she lived in France during the week and flew back in for Friday show because she admitted it in an interview but tbh can't see her returning as presenter if BB were to return...

They should change the line completely, anyway. It was always stupid when Davina randomly told them they were live, when they've been on live feed. It might have been more valid when there wasn't a delay, but still.

MTVN 30-01-2011 11:04 AM

Omg just log in and see a new BB12 forum :amazed:

No, just means the full, original article is no longer available to view as Broadcast magazine's site requires a subscription to access.

Btw, this has also been reported in The Sunday Times with mention of Desmond wanting to breath new life into the format.

Not necessarily, while it is likely talks have re-opened (Broadcast are an industry publication not a tabloid), I'm not so sure I believe the five years thing (as I said, unless they mean a one year contract with a five year option) and the extension from 13 weeks thing was probably taken from the September articles that suggested that.

Jords 30-01-2011 01:03 PM

Im so excited, hope to have BB back on our screens next year! :D
