QPR boss Neil Warnock has put James Beattie at the top of his list of summer transfer targets.
The Rangers striker, who spent the second half of the season on loan at Blackpool, could now be set to stay in the Premier League. Warnock wants a new target man to spearhead his side’s challenge to stay in the top-flight and 33-year-old Beattie has a proven track record. The former England forward has a year left on his Ibrox contract but the Scottish champions are likely to let him go for a nominal fee. If Warnock’s move for Beattie fails, he will turn his attention to Tottenham’s Robbie Keane, Fulham’s Andy Johnson or Peterborough star Craig Mackail Smith. Didn't even score 1 goal in the SPL |
Kerkar hasn't been released by Rangers meaning that Bougherra is staying at Rangers, the only reason he was there in the first place is because he was Bougherra's mate, Great news.
|
Birmingham have confirmed the release of Kevin Phillips, Sebastian Larsson and Lee Bowyer following the club's relegation from the Premier League.
Also leaving are goalkeeper Maik Taylor, defender Martin Jiranek and full-back Stuart Parnaby. All six players have left the club on the expiry of their contracts. |
LIVERPOOL have slapped an £8million price tag on striker David Ngog.
The Reds are prepared to sell the 22-year-old Frenchman who is keen to secure regular first team football. There have been a number of enquiries from clubs across Europe, including Newcastle United, but there have so far been no bids matching Liverpool’s valuation. Ngog has scored 19 goals in 94 appearances for the Reds since his £1.5million move from Paris St Germain three years ago. If we get £8 Million for Ngog it will be the most amazing transfer ever |
We are still in for Downing aswell

Gervinho to Arsenal

Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley has urged the club to bring Cardiff City striker Jay Bothroyd to Parkhead next season.
The England international, who bagged 18 Championship goals this term, is a free agent this summer as his Bluebirds contract has expired. Ledley knows Bothroyd well following their time together at Cardiff and he believes the 28-year-old would be the perfect signing for Celtic |
Bothroyd will go to a premiership team
|
Hope so.. he's a decent player
|
