It's entirely possible and quite easy to seperate the rest of his life from the last few hours of it. I doubt people calling him a legend were endorsing his drunk driving.
He made a stupid mistake and paid the ultimate price. He was still the dude.

I liked him but the fact he was so stupid has put me off him a bit, it happens with anyone who drink drives. It is sad that he died though and Roger Ebert was exceedingly dumb tweeting like that so soon after. |
