Im such a dork about ratings and want it to do well.

You can get a good idea by the social buzz, references and mentions in your own daily life. Its interesting how often you will 'guesstimate' by that measure and see it validated in ratings.
I'm not hearing much. The launch yes. I heard a lot of people saying they wanted to see what the new one looked like.
Then nothing really.
Comments (whether at work or friends or twitter etc) comments seem lackluster, unexcited, brief.

In fairness, there is a bit of 'wait and see' for the regular season. Maybe we will be in for a bit of a pleasant surprise?
But I see this going to that 1.2 mark someone mentioned a few posts ago.

Last nights highlights show got 2.74m.

Thats the highest overnight figure in a while. It beats any BB10 or BB11 overnight.

I think CBB7 was roughly the same in overnights then jumped to just over 3 in officials

CBB8 = 2.74m 12.1%
BB11 = 1.88m 9.2%
CBB7 = 2.48m 9.4%

BB10 was getting under 2 million and BB11 only got under 2.7 every saturday.

Its an awful show.

I had to switch off the production is so ****ing poor.

The ratings should go up greatly again tonight

one week BB11 only got 2.1M (saturday) then managed 2.9M the day after (sunday)

Isn't SATC aimed at a more mature audience that watched the series? I think BB should be okay.

My god Channel 4 need to **** off with all these films they are really looking desperate.

BB is on at 10pm tonight, hope that doesn't affect viewers.

Brilliant ratings :D Considering I wasn't expecting anything more than 1m for this series, I'm very pleased so far. Hope they can keep it up!

I think the problem is 5*, It lost like 80% of its audience from the night before when it was on C5

Doesn't help that it doesn't have a consistent channel either:

Sunday - 5*
Monday - C5
Tuesday - 5*
Wednesday - 5*
Thursday - C5
Friday - C5
Saturday - 5*

Honestly wouldn't be bothered if they cut it to 30 mins and gave us more time for highlights.

The production is just ammeture and theres so many awkward silences in between jokes and clips.

They need to drop the games and make it an actual discussion show with unseen footage.

It's definitely gone further towards Big Mouth rather than BBLB :sad:

The fact it's the 'highest rating launch' since 2008 or the 'highest rating Saturday' since 2008 - proves that this is the best series.. since BB9.


I'm really nervous now as to what little BB12 will get. :sad: I bet every ***** just abandons it once Amy Childs and Jedward leave on the final night of this, and BB12 will be left swimming with like 1.4 Million viewers.

I dont think people will stick with BB12 at all just have a feeling.
