I can't imagine life without Cathedral City :bored:

Being a vegan's incredibly difficult, IMO. Why bother going to all the trouble of buying supplements when you can eat meat? Saves you all the walking around. Seems incredibly bizarre to me but - hey - that's just my opinion.

Hey, why go to work when you can rob old ladies.

Why? No one does that because it's horrible, illegal and you could get arrested for that? Also, what sick, twisted mind would get a kick out of robbing old ladies - who probably aren't that loaded, anyway?

No, it isn't. In fact, d'you know what? Never mind. It's 20 to 12 and I just can't be arsed having a heated debate. Come back tomorrow and then we'll talk. ;)

Some of the PETA vids really do put me off meat. But they often show the extreme of the extreme. And it's also often less developed countaries than ours.

Not so sure about the 'less developed countries'..... I have a friend who is part of PETA - and a lot happens here in our own back yard.

*had to give her a loan of cat travel box to rescue some chickens.... !!!*

MeMyselfAndI 02-10-2011 01:03 PM

I'm a vegetarian, eating meat is selfish

It's countries btw. ;)

I agree, there are a heck of a lot of worse. The monkey brains/toffee hammer stuff - now that's sick beyond belief (as well as a great many other live skinnings/ eatings).

But so too can be said of many shellfish for example, in less developed countries, dropped into boiling hot water etc. You know: pick your live crab / lobster from the tank and 15 mins later, it's on your plate.

you realise that dropping a brick on head, if it results in instant death, is far less brutal, far less agonising that being boiled to death?

Actually, scrub that. You don't realise that, otherwise you'd not have used it as an example.

*Remebers that horrible video smithy(?) posted*

The one where the farmer people were stabbing cows with pitchforks and that

Yeah but it doesn't often result in instant death does it. Especially if it's a pig

That kind of stuff makes me almost physcially sick - I really struggle to watch that sort of abuse.
