Yes. If the housemates were as hungry as they make out they are, yes.

Quite simple really.

Oh... and Aaron had nothing to do with ordering that particular shopping list ..... so why you are even bringing him into the equation on that point, beats the hell out of me.

The bananas were different but cereal has a longer shelf life, it would have lasted until likely the end of the series even at least.

That is simply not the case, there are many homeless people in this country even, more people on the breadline than for decades, there are kitchens and Charities always in need of anything to help feed them.

In London there are loads of places where cereal donated and other food provide breakfasts and nourishment for people who are homeless etc.

Everything makes a difference and it all can be a good difference if people are not wasteful and care enough,if they don't give a hoot for others then that's for them and a different story of course.

Same question applies to you as well then why didnt you whinge about this when bucktooth bought the damn bananas?
Because you are only moaning to defend Aaron thats why its rather obvious and a little duplicitous.

What precisely has this to do with food being ruined?

Because they were bought to eaten. Not destroyed.

Locke. 16-10-2011 12:00 AM

Aaron didn't care about the food being ruined, he cared about the mess.

There are homeless people in this Country who could of had them Nanas. Anyway It simply does not work to say

BB Food Fight, What a waste of food.

for the same reason as it does not work to say

BB 2 million spent, well that could of been spent in better ways than entertainment.

Well you know something, I saw the funny side but I don't like to see food wasted, having said that, you can do a lot with bananas, you can eat them as they are, have them with ice cream and make banana fritters etc. You can even make milk shakes with them too.

At the time he did it there were like 12 housemates in the house,I eat 3 a day.
500 was in effect too many, 200 would have been a better thing to do,but it still left around only 40 bananas each, stored right they would last a week or even more easily so it would have only been about 5/6 each a day.their 5 a day in fact for a week, no need to waste the bulk of them.

They'd be sick of bananas no doubt but quantified and qualified 500 wasn't that excessive.

I don't agree, the scenario's you outline are imcomparable, the entertainment is not wasted that people go to,they would really likely enjoy it however the food bought was wasted unnecessarily in this instance.

Not a good point.
That's because they 'chose' not to eat them not that they 'couldn't have' been eaten or donated elsewhere,

BB should not have given them so many extra treats and extra takeaways then maybe they would have had to eat them.

It wasn't bananas they were throwing aorund and wasting though it was foodstuff that would have lasted a lot longer than bananas.

My last response to you on this is that no one is ever always right and no one is always wrong.

On many issues on this forum I have had my opinion altered greatly by the arguments/experiences put by others.

You initially responded to me just to challenge my view as you usually do, all I have done is return the that to you.

What about that innocent cupcake he pelted at the window?

Fans that see no wrong in their favourites are the worst. Everybody has their faults, its not a bad thing. Were only human!

MTVN 16-10-2011 02:15 AM

Oh and also what about in that shopping task where Aaron was chucking his porridge around and all over Mark

Now surely that too is wasting food right?
