I've been scared of saunas since that episode of Friends where Chandler goes into one and can't see a thing and accidentally sits on his father-in-law.

EDIT: since I saw the episode anyway, I was about 5 when it first aired :joker:

ive never been in a sauna ive been in this steam room once when i was at this hotel and some fat man shouted at me coz i was talking to my nephew who was in the pool while i was in the steam room so all the steam was escaping and he went berserk and i was just like urm its only steam chillax

steam rooms > saunas

Why would getting hot and sweaty be any kind of fun at all?

I've been in a steam room and a sauna. Steam room is great, especially when you go into the cold pool afterwards..

It's too hard to breath for me in a sauna

Never found steam rooms or saunas that enjoyable, you just sit there sweating away

I only went once, but I also found it hard to breathe in the Sauna. The good thing about the steam room is that it's really good for your facial pores.. :)

I think its meant to be relaxing

I'd rather do other things to relax.
