A very bad twist and one that brings down the credibility of D.O.I. rather than enhances it.

Exactly Joey. I'm sick and tired of these shows trying to be different by throwing in these twists. The same thing happened with The X Factor when they threw one act from each category out in the first week.

I get that shows evolve, but sometimes I think they try and go for the shock factor and it doesn't always work.

Both shows use audience participation with the votes, but then it becomes annoying when the show dictates who stays or goes.

What I love about DOI is watching each contestant perform a routine, this week we were cut short of that. No sooner were you into a performance and the next act took over.

It'll be much better this week when all is as normal and we get to see them all skate properly, last week was very pantomime, with several skaters pretending to square up to each other on the ice, just silly really.

I like it best after most of the no hopers go out, and the last few weeks are usually awesome in terms of performances. I would like to see a change to the final though, it's a bit predictable now, them doing the Bolero each season, could a new challenge not be implemented I wonder?

Yes Kate, I've thought about this too.

Originally the Bolero was something really special, but as each year goes by it loses a little bit of the spark.

I'd love to see something different this year, although I'm pretty clueless as to what to suggest.

A fair result. Charlene was very likeable and entertaining, but I think Sam deserved to stay tonight. How did you think it will go in order of elimination now?

I think....

Rosemary
Sam
Andy
Heidi
Sebastien
Chico
Jen :(
Chemmy
Matthew
Jorgie - winner.

Could change mind later :D

I can't believe Katarina gave Rosemary a higher score than Matthew.

I know, that was ridiculous.

I was worried for Sam :o but thought he might be in the bottom two. It was time for Charlene to go, just hope Rosemary is out next week.

Marc 05-02-2012 10:09 PM

Who went?

Locke. 05-02-2012 10:11 PM

Yes I agree, Charlene was holding on as long as she could, but tonight was her time to go.

I think giving her Gaga was the wrong decision.

Next to go should be Rosemary, but for some reason some of them thin she deserves to be there for a few weeks, Lord know why.

She was either drunk or high tonight.

Kate! 06-02-2012 03:51 PM

Katarina isn't very good as a judge really. Louis is ok, but sometimes it appears he's either high or has had a few drinks :laugh2:
