Good news that he is showing small signs of improvement and well done to the brilliant medical team looking after him:).

Mystic Mock 19-03-2012 04:32 PM

That's good news, hopefully he will be fine in the next 3 or 4 days.

King Gizzard 19-03-2012 04:34 PM

He wont be 'fine' for ages tbh

bbfan1991 19-03-2012 04:39 PM

Just seen on Twitter that some of his friends have apparently told the press that he is speaking again, good progress:).

Mystic Mock 19-03-2012 04:42 PM

It's good to see that his pulling through.

This is just awful. Surely even if he makes a full recovery it will be the end of his career anyway? Poor lad.

I respect him for a comment like that but who in there right mind would play a Football match after witnessing one of the most frightening things that could happen?

Im glad his alright though as I was extremely worried for him.

Jesus. 21-03-2012 12:28 AM

He's still got a long way to go, but really glad to see he seems to be coming back.

Kizzy 21-03-2012 12:29 AM

Was there any update this morning?

Fabrice Muamba is talking and even laughing as he shows further signs of recovery from a cardiac arrest, Tottenham Hotspur player Emmanuel Adebayor has suggested.

The Bolton Wanderers midfielder has been fighting for his life at the London Chest Hospital since he collapsed during his team's FA Cup clash with Spurs on Saturday.

The 23-year-old's heart did not start beating on its own for nearly two hours after he fell on the pitch.

Spurs striker Adebayor told Sky News the player was showing a major improvement in his condition after visiting him in hospital.

"He is much better, he recognises people and can talk (and) that's the most important thing for me," he said.

"We just have to keep praying for him. He is a strong guy and I think he's been through a lot during these two days but he's back to normal and he's trying to talk normal and he's acting normal, which is very important."

Asked if Congo-born Muamba was laughing, Adebayor said: "All African people always have a smile on their face, so we are always laughing. It's part of our life."

This is quite sad in a way. It shows how much he cares about football and his team, when I very much doubt he will be able to play again. Even if he wants to(which I would think he does) it will be impossible to insure him now I would imagine :/

amazing good job the doctors did not give up and did a professional job

Kizzy 22-03-2012 04:18 PM

Yes a donation by the club would be a nice gesture and to the ambulance service, he was a very lucky young man.

King Gizzard 23-03-2012 05:35 PM
