And we all saw Rooney right in front of our eyes - he kicked the player, punched him, pushed Ronaldo, used foul language, argued back with the referee - all this was done in front of the referee remember! I can't stand Rooney, and I'm definitely not defending him.

What I'm annoyed about is the fact that everyone in England always shows Rooney in the papers and stuff, when in fact the 10 players left (even excluding Beckham) put up such a good fight that Portugal couldn't get a single goal! THAT'S why they deserved to win.

I'm mad at all the injustice - some Portuguese players definitely should've been sent off. Although no way am I defending Rooney. The people I'm praising are the other 10 England players who totally deserved to win!!!!

I agree with Rooney being sent off totally. However there was unfairness in that some Portuguese players should've been sent off. I'm going to lose so much interest in the World Cup now that England isn't there. Besides, it's not like Portugal is going to get any further than the semi-final anyway! Especially when England's the better team overall.
