Somehow I think they do this year.

If I remember every HM got booed last year as they kept saying "ignore it and remember it's only pantomime"

This year the crowd seemed to have changed over the weeks and are now cheering the *nicer HMs.

* meaning those that do not threaten, bitch or bully at every available chance or when a back has been turned

Oooo, she's sooo evil.

Whatever the reason, if you look at any online Polls for HMs popularity this year, the Boos and cheers reflect them pretty well

Halfwit 02-08-2012 04:48 PM

i'm glad this series is almost over, if there is no lf next year i won't even start watching. it is so ridiculous that we have to discuss hm behavior over a daily star article -.-

alex_front2 02-08-2012 04:51 PM

Conor will only be in last 2 if Luke A is evicted next week (possible) otherwise final duo standing will be Deana and Luke A.

Been saved the most doesn't reflect popularity... in Conors case he's normally got lucky to be against someone just as dislikeable. (Arron, Shiv & Caroline...)

I agree with this. Unless you top the votes EVERY time you are up (like aaron :pipe: ) then it does kinda reflect popularity :p

I don't think that's true. He may have had support on DS and this forum, but he wasn't universally liked and he was not liked at all by the viewing public. The entire time last year's BB was on, I didn't meet a single person who watched the show who liked him.

Aaron only won because his fans block voted him on FB where it was so cheap last year. He is the only 'winner', to date, who has been booed by the crowds on the final night. He wasn't booed for the sake of booing either. He was booed for his selfish and obnoxious behaviour in the house. Him slagging off his ex wife and son and then using them to curry favour with the viewers didn't go down too well either.

I'll be fair to him, as much as I loathe him, he wasn't the only unpleasant HM in last year's BB. Sticking in insipid HMs like Aaron, Anton, Conor, Becky, Ashleigh et al., seems to be what BB is, unfortunately, all about these days, or perhaps it's just a sad reflection of British & Irish 18-30s nowadays?

Agreed! Us Aaron fans were block voting. I know people who were opening multiple email accounts just to vote for Aaron again! It was madness! :joker:

Until it can be proven that he only won/topped the votes because of people block voting, I call bull tbh

People were block voting others also. Many people on Jays FB page for example were talking about setting up extra acounts to beat the 500 (?) vote limit. The multi cheap voting did not only benefit one person, no matter how much those who disliked that person try to spin it.

Jay fans were also block voting. That is the only reason he got to second place. I don't think he was as popular as people think he was. :suspect:

fitz2k2 02-08-2012 05:20 PM

Time to kick off few housemates soon

Redway 02-08-2012 05:22 PM

I think the best thing to do is to kick out this stupid prick. :bored:

Everyone had fans who block voted. To claim otherwise is just ridiculous

I only voted last year because it was so cheap, but I spread 100 votes out over the course of the series. I actually cant imagine voting 500 times in one eviction (doesnt that work out about 35 quid?!) let alone making multis to spend more.

You know what the sad part is Deana has done nothing to any of them n yet they keep bashing her for lame excuses. If big brother was on channel 4 conor, scott, ash, becky will all be gone and i bet they will throw in new housemates as well.

MTVN 02-08-2012 05:25 PM

I do think the forums held Aaron in a lot higher esteem than the viewing public did, but then that's pretty much always true of the housemates who become the forum darlings. I did think the 7p voting had given control to online fans but then CBB9 contradicted that a bit when Denise won despite being disliked by most on here and DS

I voted 500 times every week for Aaron. I felt the show was biased against him and i thought it was really unfair. I think that's the main reason why he got so many votes. Remember all the controversy?

Indeed.

If the forums could swing it so much Im sure it would have been Michael or the twins that won.

I do think the clear bias against him had a lot to do with his popularity, yes. Cant deny that at all.

aman201 02-08-2012 05:51 PM

scotts a bellend.

Jake. 02-08-2012 06:08 PM

Never liked him. Bitchy, spiteful queen.
