I will say though, that the Callum/Dexter thing was largely started by all of the other housemates. Way before the Charlie rivalry too. Anyone remember Dexter telling Callum that he was too nice? And that the other housemates would make him a target because of that? Callum took it as Dexter saying he was too nice, rather than him passing on what the others were bitching about, nominated him for it, and it evolved from there.

Dexter was right.

Well name calling is just silly and childish and not funny ,I could think of lots of things to call some of them but I will refrain.

I see no problem with them nominating each other, it is a game after all, and you have to try and eliminate competition even if you get on well with them, but to say that to Dexter and then to go on to nominate him face to face does stink a bit of being two-faced, he would have been better not saying he had his back in the first place, unless he meant he had it for backstabbing. So yeah, can see why Dexter is wary of Callum, think I would be too in his place.

That's the main reason i don't have any respect for Callum.

Kazanne 28-07-2013 06:09 PM

I think some people have got really annoyed now Callum seems to be gathering support,it seems to have unnerved them somewhat.

AnnieK 28-07-2013 06:11 PM

As Vicky said, it's a game. At the end of the day they all want to win and these people aren't friends in the true sense, they've been thrown into a house with little or no outside contact or stimulus and the aim is to be the last one standing. No loyalty, no friendships get rewarded...it's winner takes all. I would nominate whoever was te bigger threat regardless of my personal thoughts about them. Why anyone thinks that loyalty should come in to it is not getting the aim of the game.

Suze 28-07-2013 06:11 PM

I am no Callum fan, but doesn't bother me in the least who gains or loses support, it happens every BB, you expect it to.

Very true, the only slight flaw there could be though, that they could end up against their biggest threat and be evicted, but I suppose that's the chance they take. And surely the biggest threat will logically thinking not get evicted and make the final, and so with vote to save it might be best to keep that threat in and take the chances against them in the final.

I know....Grrr. It's the Manc in me, we are all hard nuts!!

Seriously though, it infuriates me the way they are all mortally offended when they are nominated, like they haven't nominated two people themselves. It also drives me mad when they say they "love" people...is that possible in such a contrived situation? Maybe it's just me with a black heart but I love my best friend, close friends and family etc but my other friends I like an ordinary amount and certainly wouldn't be declaring I loved them after a few weeks.

Im really not a Callum fan but I cant abide bullying

Dexter was bullied in the first three weeks and I was a big fan of him going into the SH and getting a chance to payback some of his bullies

Instead of that, he came out and started doing exactly the same thing to Callum, I have hated him since, he of all people should know how it feels, Gina even spelt it out to him in the SH when she said "they are treating Callum the way they treated us"

Unfortunately for Dexter, his urge to be in with the 'cool gang' blinded him and he started fawning to them, it was very unattractive

When he was chosen to be the snake, he was devastated that his 'new friends' all still felt the same way about him, even after his efforts to make Callum their main target

Callum is an idiot around Charlie, but I think its because he is actually 'mad' about her

Dexter, on the other hand, tried to use her for a storyline and it hasnt worked

As for creepiness, I think both of them have it in equeal measures but Dexter's is more sinister, whereas Callum is just a bit silly
