Sorry, but what exactly are you getting at here? Are you trying to say that he's not actually deaf? That it was a ruse and lie to get on BB and eventually win?
1. Dexter and Charlie were speaking very loudly. Probably because they wanted to ensure that the camera and microphones picked up all they had to say (possibly more from Dexter than from Charlie).
2. Sam wears hearing aids in both ears. There was nobody else in the garden and they were in the tree house, which probably filtered out a lot of background noise so he could understand some of what was being said to some degree.
3. If you watched closely (to all we were able to see in the edit), Gina was telling Sam what was being said.4. You seem to forget that it was Dexter who entered the house telling everyone complete lies and bull **** about himself and his life and not Sam.
Sam was in no way rude or aggressive in his question to Dexter. If you feel he was then you need to log off of this forum, shut down your computer and get out into the real world FFS!
I find it so ridiculous that everyone keeps referring to the fact that this is a game show, but yet they are prepared to go so low in their hate and accusations against someone who has obviously had to contend with a lot in his 23 years due to his disability. Nobody is saying that Sam is a saint. But just that he is just a normal 23 year old man who may (or may not) have done some things in the past that he may or may not regret. He is deaf that is all. Being deaf does not mean that he can't have a normal life as possible and therefore behave or misbehave like any other young man.
I only hope that his family are not reading any of these comments as some are pretty disgusting.
But if they are they then.... forgive them for they know not what they do.... and just be content with the fact that Dexter is losing supporters by the hundreds ... !

Good post, I was going to mention that Sam and Gina were together in that treehouse and that Gina was telling Sam what they were saying, also has been pointed out many times as to Sam, he has a hearing aid.
When there are only one or 2 voices on the go, what is said will be received much clearer,it is when there is a group of people all talking alamost at once that the clarity of what is said gets vastly distorted.
My goodness, I once got pulled up for beng 'too defensive' as to Dan, people now cannot dare say a thing negative as to Dexter without being jumped on and get pulled up for their comments, for it appears just not agreeing he is wonderful and should be liked.
Sam has every right,as an equal housemate to pull Dexter up on things that annoy him as to him.
Sam caught Dexter out when watching on a screen, where Dexter totally relayed a different interpetration of what Sam had actually said to him.
Sam has no liking for or any trust in Dexter at all.
Unfortunately, they have to live in the same house until Monday,so it is near impossible not to say something to each other.
It is annoying when his real disablement as to the loss of his hearing is questioned.
He has lost 70% of his natural hearing and I find it unpleasant when people get at him using that disablement against him.
Really, though, nothing can be said against Dexter without getting a backlash,he is however
only some of the forum's favourite, not all of the forum's favourite ,no matter how much it would be liked to be otherwise.
