maybe but to quote hazel and try and implicate her means you must have very strong suspicions. Matt never liked hazel: not in house, when Dan was evicted or when Hazel was evicted. He made his dislike known. Even Gina had more time for Hazel than Matt did, shockingly enough. If you look at his Twitter timeline, he happily re-tweeted abuse she got.

Yeah but I very much doubt Hazel is the reason for it at all. I mean at the end of the day if Dan was happy and content in his relationship he wouldn't have dumped Matt, you can't really blame a third party for it imo. Now, whether Dans reasons were good or not or whether he dumped him for fame or for Hazel or so he could play the field is really irrelevant, Dan wanted out of the relationship so he broke up with Matt, that's his right really, you don't need to have an amazing reason to dump someone, if you don't want to be with them move on is my view. And what do we all know anyway, besides seeing Matt on BOTS once or twice, maybe he's an arsehole and that's why Dan dumped him lol

Not even sure what fame Dan could acquire. Although Dan is quite camp, he's not in the Graham Norton/ Alan Carr bracket required for TV presenting gay men.

Very good point, I don't think Dan has the warmth/charisma of either Norton or Carr; I think he -can- be nice, funny, etc but I wouldn't be surprised if either he's got a really short fuse or most of the time he's a bit of a grouch.

Yes but I bet that's true of alot of presenters.............Justin Lee Collins anyone?

Dan simply isn't camp enough.

He will be braceted with straight men rather than gay ones and it will just leave women thinking 'what a waste' wheres Graham Norton is someone they won't sexually feel rejected by.

Dan is a charisma-free zone. Even on BOTS he was like a rabbit frozen in the headlights. Most of the other housemates were more relaxed.

Poor Matthew, but maybe it's good that he has seen that side of Dan then. I like Matthew, thought he was a very nice down to earth bloke, hope he finds someone who appreciates him more.

Lot of assumptions being made here and people seem quick to listen to the rantings of a quite possibly bitter ex. That is simply one very loaded side of the story.

The boyfriend sounds quite the jealous/possessive type to me and I would give Dan credit for knowing his own mind.

Dan is a young, clearly intelligent bloke who I have no doubt can find another 'good job' - and quite capable of assessing the 'risks' of his decisions. It really is no biggie.

Very fair and very well said.
I agree with you.

As I said, more assumptions. You have seen the bloke speak on TV for about 5 minutes and think you can make such a statement. Jack the Ripper no doubt could appear a 'very nice down to earth bloke' for that length of time.

Twitter has a lot to answer for! Lol! ;)

We wouldn't even get to hear of these things if it were not for Twitter.

I think it's the invention of the Devil! (Even though I have two largely unused accounts myself. ;) )

It is, and these "celebs" should all be banned from it :joker:
