I would have loved to play but I didn't think it was fair on others as I wasn't sure if I could make an appearance at least once a day.

Also I think there are a few new members who would be great and thoroughly enjoy it, not sure if they applied, but I could ask peeps later tonight if you're still interested in running it :love:

..actually, you must have spent ages of your time doing this...can you not delay it a week or so/give it one last push....we can post on people's walls/bombard them with PMs...this is too good a game and too much effort for this not to happen...this is silly...really, this is exactly the thing that the forum needs and I know that anyone involved will not regret that decision to participate....

..ok, we'll rendezvous later in PMs with our action plan if Shaun is still prepared to do it..he's gone offline now, I think.. so just see what he says...I can understand a loss of enthusiasm as well but I think it's just generally quiet atm and some stupid people have gone and got lives and fun and stuff..:rolleyes:...

To be honest, I usually leave a lot of the work until just after the series starts (since I only really need the immediate tasks prepared for launch) so there's still a fair bit of work I haven't done yet - and when I saw last week that I'd only received about 5 applications after them being open for a fortnight, I lost a lot of motivation to continue. Plus I'm not generally feeling massively creative lately, just general...stuff...going on.

But I would definitely like this to continue, and once I've got into the right frame of mind I'll be able to get ready quickly indeed, but right now I'm 3 people short - and haven't asked for any judges yet (I know Matt will be good for it and I asked Ben, but I'd need 2 more) - and need to get some stories written up. So this is partly my fault, I wasn't prepared at all, and I got disheartened by the lack of interest.

In fact, now I think of it, I was supposed to ask Lee to apply because she was busy at the time... can't think why, must have been important I guess :whistle: someone give her a prod please

Just need the one more application, and I need to work on one more task. Then I can get stories written and, hopefully, some graphics from Matt and we can launch :spin2:

LOL, I just got 3 and a half applications (word that someone else is applying later).

I've had a lot of messages regarding this and I just thought I should bump the thread and remind you that it is on the way, and a lot sooner than you think. I want the game over before Christmas (partly because nobody will have time over the holidays, partly because it's not exactly a festive game :D)

So I'll set a launch date for Wednesday 27. November :spin2: I'll PM the successful applicants their character profiles.

I'm writing up small backstories as we speak - have done 5 of them so far. I'll try and get them done before tomorrow night. Most people who applied have got in though so don't worry :laugh: only 4 I can think of who applied, didn't:

Livia - you already know this, because you applied on the provision that I needed more members and by then I did, so thank you :love:
Petemitch(number I forget) - I replied to you as well, saying I'll have you on backup if I ever need it because you applied only the other day :laugh: sorry
Josiah - I'm really sorry, but on the basis of your performance in the last ICB you participated in, and other games, I don't think you were going to be active enough for this :( I had to narrow down the numbers to 16 'inmates'. As with pete, I will ask if you can be a replacement if I ever need it :)
and Lee. - you didn't send me the proper application and by the time you sent me a PM saying you wanted to apply, I'd already had enough :( of those that did apply, I think you've also played the game the most times :laugh: so I wanted to give some others a shot. Plus I can't have someone who's just got married dying on me :(
