Next episode looks sooooooo good, lol. I always love when the Doctor tries to blend in.

As a side note, did anyone else feel like this was a story written for 11? The Doctor didn't behave much like the 12th Doctor toward the end.

Next episode looks like it's all about Clara, pass.

4.92m (23.5%) watched last night's episode.

Marsh. 21-09-2014 07:30 PM

Oooh, that's not good. :/

Glenn. 21-09-2014 07:32 PM

I thought it was over 5m

Jarrod 21-09-2014 07:33 PM

The overnights aren't that strong - the official ratings are boosting up to around 7 Million.

Marsh. 21-09-2014 07:39 PM

"Robot of Sherwood" I really couldn't get into. :umm2:

I cringed at that spoon fighting scene more than when Martha used to try to act. :worry: I usually like the silly comedy episodes but that didn't do it for me.

Loved "Listen" even though it seemed to be a typical Moffat affair and I thought "Time Heist" was brilliant although I think the script spoiled it for me as some of the visuals I imagined to be better than a lot of what they used, like the Cardiff factory.

An early preview for "Kill the Moon" has been released, I can kinda see why it's got a later timeslot

Jarrod 27-09-2014 08:22 PM

This episode was pretty brilliant.

armand.kay 27-09-2014 08:27 PM

Courtney a new companion?

armand.kay 27-09-2014 08:27 PM

Best episode of the series Imo

MB. 27-09-2014 08:29 PM

The rest of the series is just going to be The Thick of It without the swearing, isn't it

armand.kay 27-09-2014 09:05 PM

Next ep looks really good too!

armand.kay 27-09-2014 09:06 PM

Lol at Courtney randomly being a reoccurring character

Scarlett. 27-09-2014 09:56 PM

This weeks episode was quite good, also, made me realise they've actually built up an "Earth cast" again, like they did in S1-4. Next weeks episode looks awesome.

Glenn. 27-09-2014 10:07 PM

I didn't really rate this episode tbh. Didn't really seem like a lot was going on. I could watch it again though. Maybe there was something I liked about it.

Next weeks looks absolutely terrifying though

When I see the spider thing in the next time trailer I actually hid my face. I hate spiders so ****ing much.

Rob! 28-09-2014 04:20 AM

LOVED this week.

I think my favourite aspect of it is despite the fact that The Doctor hates soldiers and therefore Danny, what's interesting is that Danny can apparently read the Doctor better than Clara ever could. He knew the Doctor knew he was there when he was invisible, he knew The Doctor was thawing to him slightly by the end and why and it was him that had to explain all this to Clara.
The monster was cool and expensive looking but ultimately a decoration in a story about how these characters are now going to interact.
What the hell is going on with Missy? I'm LOVING this series so far and next week? Space spiders? I hate spiders. :cheer:

Sticks 28-09-2014 05:56 AM

And it was a giant space spider that did for the 3rd doctor...

Scarlett. 28-09-2014 10:40 AM

One thing I loved, is Danny talked back to the Doctor, proving himself, he's a brilliant character in his own right, and Clara has really come into her own this series, its crazy looking back at how little characterisation there was last series.

Firewire 28-09-2014 11:23 AM

Episode 1: had to watch twice to understand it but loved it
Episode 2: even better than the first episode
Episode 3: a bit pointless
Episode 4: amazing episode
Episode 5: it was enjoyable but not as good as the others (minus 3)
Episode 6: fantastic episode, it was hilarious too.

Jarrod 28-09-2014 04:01 PM
