The really sad part is all the people that are oppressed and bullied by religion.

The kids that are beaten and oppressed by religion. Let's talk about that now.

We are starting to go way off the beaten track now. We can debate theodicy on another thread to our hearts content if we want but I think we've definitely lost track of where Waterhog wanted this to go.

I'm defending belief in Jesus and God. Religion is another issue like the arguments the dude brings up in the video.

The church is not full of righteous people true. A lot of people use churches under false pretence true. A lot of people twist the bible to their advantage true. Religion starts wars true. Those are separate things to believing in God and Jesus.
