[QUOTE=DemolitionRed;7507817]I wasn't moaning about free speech! I said, we don't have the same luxury as Hopkins because we may offend people. I have no intention of offending anyone but if they wish to take offence at what I have to say when its not directed at them, then they have to own it.
I could say you offended me by accusing me of moaning but I won't because you didn't!

You can say what you like on here AS LONG as it is about the housemates/BB. There is no need at all for you to air your views about the fans of other housemates, it is against the rules for a reason, it adds nothing of worth to the point of this forum, creates bad feeling amongst groups of fans and turns threads into page after page of arguing that most other members have no interest in reading through.

I agree but I thought I made that clear in what I wrote.
Actually if you had read what I'd written you would fully understand that, that was never my intention and more importantly, was not my point. Just as we misconstrue characters in the house, the written word is often misconstrued to be something it is not.

If Katie H was posting on this site she would have to follow the same rules as everyone else but she would still be able to say some if not all things. For example I can say " I hate Perez he is fat" or "I hate all fat people from Liverpool" what I can't say on this forum is "I hate (Insert any member's name) you are from Liverpool ando thus are fat. That would break the rules, I have been a member of forums without this rule, it is chaos and they soon become pointless.
Now in the real world Katie still has to follow the law of the land set by the democratic system, which are different to the rules of an Internet forum. I could say anyone from Liverpool is fat and I hate them, even if it was not true and it offended people.
I do not know everything she has ever said but given her high profile i would expect if she did break the law it would soon be mentioned. At the same time you are entitled within the law to respond to her as you see fit. Again I am not a legal expert so could not tell you exactly what is legally acceptable.
Even if she did break the law it would have to go to court and be proven. As I said before you can if you wish avail yourself of all modern media tools and reply to Katies or anyone else's comments as you see fit.
