EDIT: oh you mean the DS one was rubbish  I'll call off the boys. :idc: |
I have no idea about predictions to be honest. I'd say 2.2m maybe. Got to say, I don't know how this Timebomb will work, I can imagine them messing with us a lot, eg. evicting a HM and then going back in time to have them back.

Hang on a minute - it it's airing during the BGT semi finals, does that mean it's up against Corrie for an entire week? Doesn't Corrie do a week of episodes at 9pm for BGT finals?Or will they be doing a lot of 10pm episodes?

10pm is risky with exams! 9pm is perfect, loved CBB15 at 9! Good job most of my exams are in the afternoon and not everyday!

Yes its good to be positive I was just saying I don't think it will have a high launch. You need to deal with that. |

So, we have had promotion on other channels, will this help I wonder? |

Aside from the Viacom channel adverts I hope they get an advert shown during BGT on ITV1. A huge potential audience there and it would certainly help with drawing in some extra viewers.

1.8-2 million for launch, I predict.
I think series rating average will be around 1.65-1.7 million. |
Thing is with BB, no matter what it gets, it will always look low compared to CBB, especially since we had the highest rated CBB on January. BB gets around 1m lower than CBB, but with BB15 and CBB15 the gap was bigger as BB15 averaged 1.6m and CBB15 averaged 3.1m which is almost double.
BB14 launched with 2.13m overnight for its first launch and BB15 launched with 2.10m excl +1, so BB15 actually did slightly better than BB14 launch, however, BB14 kept a huge chunk of its audience as the final for it got 2.10m and BB15 got 1.60m. BB16 won't be higher than 2.2m overnight, no matter whether the promotion is incredible, not many people want to watch regular people anymore. Like to be wrong though. |
Bb will get 2.5m tops but that's still very good. For channel 5

What is it up against next Tuesday?

I predict a solid 2.0m viewers for the launch, seems like quick promotion isn't necessarily key. If it wasn't for social media, I think most would be clueless that's it on, I and many others only tune into C5 for BB, but hopefully with cross-channel promotion it'll make it no lower than 2!
As for Irish viewing and MTV viewing I predict it could be pumped slightly, to maybe 2.1 - 2.2, not aware of Irish viewing figures, but I get that the most rated shows tend to attract around 700,000, in a country of just 5 million people. TV3, is much like the ITV of Ireland so it's got a fair share of population to view, I hope it pulls in around 150,000 at least, though with it half airing on their digital channel 3e and only a week of promotion, who knows! As far as overall, I'd like to think it could pull in 1.6m viewers. I'm guessing that going above 1.5 (like Power Trip) is acceptable considering they renewed it for another 3 years shortly after. I reckon we'd really have to worry when the show's series averages something like 1.3m! |

The show will struggle, I forgot that BB launch clashes with the Champions League semi final with Barcelona VS Bayern 2nd leg and then the first HL show clashes with the semi final of Juventus VS Real Madrid 2nd leg.
I'll be probably recording BB on both these days. |
