To be fair though, I'd rather have an honest post count. Sometimes when I am or was bored, I'd go to C&G and just post letters, words, numbers and smilies. I know the whole spam aspect has been removed a lot more with the new post count system, but I'd still rather that what I do post is valid. So it'd be interesting to know how many C&G posts I received in the past, whether it'd be possible to remove them and how many I'd have as a result. The forum is a much better place now IMO with the new post count system and C&G post count being removed.

Don't you think that the C&G posts could be counted now that the post count has been removed from the side? That way, we would all have an accurate post count even if it isn't displayed.

edit: also.. a lot of C&G threads are being created in the General Chat area now that the C&G doesn't count. So it never really solved anything.

I couldnt get used to it at first, but now I havn't even noticed it.

I just post normally now. Now that you dont get a post number for saying 'Love' or something in C and G, its much better.

Most people have gotten used to it now I think. And, hopefully anyone who was obsessed with boosting their post count wont bother now.

Just thought that, all the less relevant topics are suddenly at the top.

People will start new count-up threads if we allow posts-counts for Chat and Games again and they tend to clutter the Today's Posts while Big Brother is on.

We'll consider it again when Celeb BB finishes but I'm not sure.

why do people have a thing about post counts does it really matter

Post counts really don't matter.

I can name a few spammers on here, but I wouldn't do that.
