Classic steps of oppression . Piers Morgan
-Act like the fairer skinned one is the victim "I have every sympathy with Taylor, who did absolutely nothing wrong," said Morgan. "And I have no sympathy with Nicki Minaj, who emerges as a whiny brat that just doesn’t like losing." Nevermind noone was actually talking to tswizzzle and the message Nicky was trying to convey was bigger than tswizzle. -Bring no value to what they're trying to say but pointing out there are other blacks that are tolerated so her argument is invalid "Her charges of racism and big-bodyism are frankly laughable when you consider that three of the five nominations for Video of the Year are black artists" Yeah there are KK members that tolerate one black  -How about talking about your feaux outrage and Taylor swift's cheap piece of feaux feminism? "He said that while she is talented, playing the "race card" is a "cheap piece of faux outrage deliberately designed to stir up unnecessary racial tension where it shouldn’t exist." |

I'm a massive lesbian. (duh) I have to sit and listen to people (and sometimes my own family) talk about how disgusting/gross/unnatural it is to be gay. Please don't tell me I don't understand 'oppression' and don't even think acting like I'm privileged because of my skin colour. Racism happens everywhere. Do you live in America? Have you been to America? In some places, black people are even worse than white people. When I was at school, this girl told me not to sit next to her because I was white. I told the teacher and she did nothing. If it had been the other way around, I would have been expelled. To think that racism exists towards people of ANY colour makes me feel sick. I understand why you're upset. Seriously, I do. But Nicki is fighting a silly battle here. It's nothing to do with skin colour. It's to do with talent. If this had been a few years ago, I'd totally agree with you. But Nicki has been so **** recently. Sorry if this seems harsh, but I don't like people judging me when they don't know me at all. I love and hate everyone equally. My first ever kiss was a black girl. I look at and judge people for how they act and what they say, not how they look. |

"I'm a massive lesbian. (duh) I have to sit and listen to people (and sometimes my own family) talk about how disgusting/gross/unnatural it is to be gay. " I understand that. But when same sex marriage was legalized in America, everyone celebrated "Love wins". Organizations changed their colours, countless tweeted their support and we didn't stop hearing about it. When we talk about black lives matter the response is either silence or "ALL LIVES MATTER" (which is true that all loves matter but that is not the point). We're not allowed to voice our opinions that make the other race uncomfortable but that could help things progress. "Racism happens everywhere. Do you live in America? Have you been to America?" Cousins and nieces in South Carolina. I hear enough of it. |

Racism is still rife look at BB15 USA
|
Obviously racism still exists and white privilege is a huge problem, not only in the U.S. but also in Europe, but Nicki not getting nominated for an award (where several black artists were nominated) is not a case of racism. I don't get why she and several people are trivializing a very serious issue
