I loved it, it was way more entertaining in the second half imo, I think the sequels will be even better because this just seems like it's tipping the iceberg of the plot in a way. I really like the cast, I think they did very well! Didn't expect the word "anus" to be used in this film though. :joker: I was excited for it to have an adult cast though and the adults acted kind of childish tbh. That's my only slight reason for disappointment. Overall I really enjoyed it, the opening was so nostalgic and the ending was really open, which I am glad about, I hate cliff hangers. Can't wait to find out more about Colin Farrell's character and about the girl in the picture(you'll know when you see it). The creatures were wonderful, I loved them all, there were some scenes with them that had everyone in the room giggling. :)

This movie was incredibly much better than expected. Took a while to pick up but the second half was great! The score of the film is beautiful and obviously brings back some Harry Potter nostalgia, also the CGI was very very good. It also took me a while to get used to American accents in the Harry Potter Universe and I am kind of hoping within the next FOUR films we visit Hogwarts again. Eddie gave a good performance but I don't really rate him as a great actor and sometimes it's hard to understand what he's saying because he's either too quiet or sounds out of breath. My favourite characters were Jacob and Queenie, love them! Is the sequel out in a years time or are they pulling a Star Wars where the fifth and final film will be released when I have 2 kids and a mortgage?

Yes, it's a thing in Portugal, for some reason. In all of the film I've seen here, there's been a 5 or 10 minute break halfway through. :worry:

David Yates is such a dull director though.

He spoils it by making the palette so dull. It suited Deathly Hallows and the tone of the plot but for goodness sake, get some colour in ya life /charley

Only a scenes with Credence that I can remember, which suited perfectly actually.
