Given there's a long BB11-style walkway at the front of the house, with the crowd behind it. And the studio beside the walkway (not in the middle like the current set). Does that mean they're bringing back the cars and they'll stop right at the end of walkway for the housemates to enter. Cause I can't imagine the side studio working.

Also, is that black square the studio?

Yes I think so :)

I really hope there's no two houses twist from the off. Just a massive grand house would be great to see, and improved production.

Praying for VTS or is that too much to ask for :worry:

Frow seems to love it so probably

Their complete favouritism of CBB that's evident in stuff like that also never ceases to piss me off. I wish they'd just stick to VTS. I remember thinking earlier this series that amongst others, one of the benefits of VTS is how 'relaxed' it makes me feel, safe in the knowledge that bar a few occasions, most of the time the essential housemates will not be going anywhere. That's just not the same with VTE, I spend ten weeks constantly on edge that the series is gonna take another blow with yet another good housemate leaving. It's such an intense, hateful, series ruining system and I wish they'd do away with it forever

If thwy get rid of the doors they can shove a pear up their arse

T* 07-02-2016 12:41 AM

I don't know about VTS being a safety blanket for me, I've had hms that I really like and that the public like evicted randomly

Denver 07-02-2016 12:43 AM

Big Brother should always be VTE it was what the show was about for it first ten years

Rob! 07-02-2016 12:44 AM

Vote to save kept Connor in. And if she'd be allowed to be up it would have kept Helen in. That's surely enough. I think the past couple of series VTE hasn't been anywhere near as bad as it could have been. Winston's eviction

It is not completely foolproof, especially when the producer's don't help with the amount of people they put up (it needs to be at least four or five to work effectively), but it's the best system we've got

Vote to evict can work but the ratio is so much smaller, and the whole thing is just far more stressful. It's literally swimming against a tide of dullard worshippers, it rarely ever goes in your favour

Agreed with both.

For me, too many loathsome dickheads have benefited from VTS. That doesn't mean they don't slip through the cracks with VTE (Danny making 3rd place last year for example) but there's a more likely chance of someone being evicted for crappy behaviour than rewarded for it.

I managed to convert the original document of the proposals from a PDF to a Word document and essentially "lift the lid" off the house - there's a screenshot below if you were interested. It's not very clear so I've also uploaded the files to Google Drive with a public link so you can zoom in on the documents: https://drive.google.com/folderview?...Gs&usp=sharing

My guess would be that for the main house they've just left the plans the same as the current series (you can clearly see that the kitchen, bedroom, garden & bathroom are the same), so I wouldn't read too far into that. It's good though as it can tell you where some of the parts of the Vaudeville house were - for example, the spare room is where the gym from the CBB12 house was. It also reveals that for some reason they've kept the BB14/15 Diary Room that's upstairs since the layout change for Timebomb.

However, moving over to the new proposals is where things get complicated. I think that the plans show that they are moving the eviction doors over to the extension, as well as there being a possible toilet on the second floor and a bathroom. It also looks like the extension will only be accessed by a corridor, rather than glass doors through to the main house. The layer removal also appears to have given some more details about the eviction set - as previously mentioned the crowd capacity could be up to 500 people and it looks as if they are wanting to construct a 180° curved screen in the new studio. It also appears to confirm that the location of two lighting towers will remain the same, as well as the location of the jib camera. Moreover, it appears that Emma will present from directly in front of the house (similar to the BB11 set-up), rather than between the crowd.

Apart from what I've listed above, I can't really see anything else. We'll just have to wait until the summer to see how these proposals come into play.

Im so excited, I just hope they dont overdo things to the house to make it seem like its a completely different place, every year it looks different but with the new enterance etc it might make me feel like its not in elstree

TomC 07-02-2016 09:05 AM

Where did this come from? Either way, very exciting to see two floors. I too hope it's not a split house theme. At least not initially.
