However ridiculous it might appear to be.

As I said before, if this really does come to fruition and they do it right (and no awful counter twists that'll undo this like the UK format), Big Brother Canada may about to skyrocket to my favourite reality show of all time

To pull off something as outlandish as this and something which would blatantly be catering to superfans of Big Brother all over the world and making the dream of an international season a reality (or close to it) would really be something to be applauded

Itīs a very brave idea. But it has a quite a bit of risks.

Just hope that it doesnīt end up being their worst one and result in a doozie of the ages. As a result hugely damaging their show.

It's just kinda embarrassing to me, like it almost sends a message that Canada is so insecure about what they can do on their own that they have to try to pander to the lowest common denominator by bringing in random people from other countries to Bring It. Also, I'm still not sure what sort of "coaching" there will be if any, because how equip are Nikki or Tim or Veronica whoever to coach people strategically, but if there is coaching involved then I fear Nikki and Tim trying to coach people on how to play up to the public.

And not for nothing, but despite Nikki's icon status I feel like I've already had enough exposure and I'm not sure what else she can provide that she hasn't already. I kinda find her played out, dare I say? And I didn't even get three weeks through Tim's season when it aired but he's ****ing awful so I don't know what we did to be punished like this.

Tim's season was the best season of BBAU. You missed out big time if you stopped watching after 3 weeks. He was amazingly entertaining.

You're insecure comment is a bit shallow-minded. The BBCAN team is having fun doing their own thing. There's nothing wrong with bringing in international players. The majority of Canadians likely won't remember Jase, or know the others. It'll be interesting to see what they make of them.

why you always so glass half empty

Canada is taking the first steps to BB International... i mean Jase and the Italian chick,,. nothing to write home about right now on paper... sure... but you have no idea what they will be going in there to do and you are hating on it already. Be happy... be excited that the same old thing isn't going to happen again... enjoy a series of BB for once :fist:

i love Tim btw.... he made that series fabulous

zakman440 23-02-2016 02:48 AM

Those returnee cast photos have made me the most excited I've been for any Big Brother since Emma Willis was promoted to the main show on BBUK - bring it on! :cheer2:

I had more than enough of Tim and his contrived persona in the early weeks, and considering that the show just went ahead and validated everything he did doesn't make him sound too great to me, especially considering the same thing happened on Celeb Apprentice AU all over again.

The whole thing just screams gimmicky to me, and Canada did a fine enough job creating a cast and producing a show for the past three years. The show would be fine if they didn't import these foreigners, and I'd probably enjoy it more without them.

jennyjuniper 23-02-2016 04:19 AM

Will the Canadians be able to understand Nikki? because I had a hard time understanding her sometimes.

This is crazy if it's true.

Saw some of Nikki in a video and wow she's crazy... :joker: Not sure if it means I'll like her or not but we'll see.

No idea on the other 2. And I didn't like Jase that much but he'd definitely be an interesting person to bring back & see how he does on the Canadian version.

The only thing I dislike about this is that BBCAN does great with their casts and this most likely means there's less of those Canadians on BBCAN4. :(

DrunkerThanMoses 23-02-2016 09:13 AM

This sounds like a trainwreck all ready... should be better then last years season then :D

And people complaining that Nikki is not strategic to be a coach, they brought back Britney and Janelle for season 14, its just who is popular.

Samm 23-02-2016 09:51 AM

I can't wait now <3

RichardG 23-02-2016 10:34 AM

Omg I can't wait

Definitely going to watch this "live" now as opposed to catching up once the seasons finished as I usually do, is there any way for people in the UK to watch the live feeds ??

Braden 23-02-2016 10:44 AM

Okay, apparently the four international players are wildcards, and the public will vote for 1 male and 1 female to join the rest of the cast. I'd post the image I found on Tumblr, but I'm on my phone rn and it's too complicated.

This doesn't sound too bad now. At least we'll be getting a larger number of new housemates (if this is actually true).
