True but they should at least have the dignity to change the name

People keep saying that, but this time last year we were all certain that BB16 would be better than BB15 surely and it can't get any worse than that, but fast-forward a few months later and they managed to produce an even bigger mess of a series then.

I remain optimistic but I'm not going to say "it can't get any worse" etc, because it can if they actually don't learn from any of their mistakes that they've done continuously in the past two years.

Daniel. 19-03-2016 12:45 PM

Well for sheer entertainment, BB16 managed to beat BB15. BB15 was still better though because it felt like an actual series not TOWIE.

Jason. 19-03-2016 01:09 PM

I found BB15 more entertaining than BB16 in the end. :worry:

The first 3 weeks of BB15 >>>

BB16 had a crap eviction order which got rid of all the strong characters within the first six weeks and we were left with a dull final which consisted of mostly dull males who hadn't even done anything to even warrant making it till the end. Not to mention, everything became about Marc for a good chunk of the series, which I found boring. Chloe was a good winner though.

BB16's first two weeks were brilliant though and showed that you don't need constant screaming matches or a Perez/Marc-style producer pet for a series to be entertaining.

Ross. 19-03-2016 01:12 PM

Up until 4in4out BB16 was brilliant tv.

Daniel. 19-03-2016 01:13 PM

Jason do not come for screaming and shouting when your favourite series is BB6.

Also, the first two weeks of BB16 were awful, I thought the entertaining parts were the legend weeks and money power week (the best of the series).

Ross. 19-03-2016 01:14 PM

Nikki's current BBCAN stint ****s all over her BB16 one sorry not sorry

Ross. 19-03-2016 01:14 PM

Although if BB16 has live feed for the legend weeks then it could've been good

Daniel. 19-03-2016 01:15 PM

But Nikki clocked Helen better than any one ever has before (she took Aisleyne's job)

Ross. 19-03-2016 01:16 PM

But the fact that Helen was even there in the first place taints the whole legend thing for me

Aisleyne was a hot mess though <3

Jason. 19-03-2016 01:16 PM

The difference with BB6 was that not only was it a natural series with a great cast delivering and making it a great series themselves. But it wasn't just about the arguments that made the series good. BB6 had better production and tasks which overall contributed to how great that series was. I don't really get the comparison.

The majority of people on this forum like BB6 but hate the constant, manfuacturated drama in series like BB15, CBB15, and BB16 so I'm not really alone in that stance.

Daniel. 19-03-2016 01:18 PM

But you didn't mention that, you just mentioned screaming and shouting, which surely BB6 is the series that has the most of that. That is all. :)

This!

Having Aisleyne, Nikki and Brian as the original legends with maybe Charley brought in in the middle would have enhanced the series greatly whereas the legends twist (Helen) hindered it

Jason. 19-03-2016 01:24 PM

The legends should've been Aisleyne, Nikki, and Charley imo.

For 1 week. No extended stay. No putting in more halfway to rock the house etc etc.

Daniel. 19-03-2016 01:24 PM

Helen revealed herself as a vile bully with no class though!

Cal. 19-03-2016 01:24 PM

It should have been Nikki, Aisleyne and Charley going in the bunker but they should have kept Charley a secret until the night.

Will. 19-03-2016 01:25 PM

The twist that saw Sam and Harry evicted was the final straw for me.

Most knew this 2 weeks into BB15 though

Tbf she revealed herself like that in BB15 tho

Daniel. 19-03-2016 01:25 PM

13 > 14 > 15 > 16 > 12

For me.

Shame only two were actually good.

Yes, for the first two weeks. Then she faded in to the background a bit and Ashleigh and Danielle stole the show!

Will. 19-03-2016 01:27 PM

Remember when Marc was constantly immune form eviction.

Daniel. 19-03-2016 01:27 PM

Remember when people thought Marc was a good housemate. Delete it now.

Cal. 19-03-2016 01:28 PM

If they invited you back in the future, would you return to the show?
"100%. Definitely. Of course I would. It's wicked, man. Just throw me into the house. Honest to God, this is how real a person I am - the minute I walked into that house I don't even think about the cameras. They're in your face moving around but you don't even think of them like that. Maybe it's because I've been in there before for two months, I don't know. But personally for me, it just felt like I walked into a house and was sitting with Aisleyne having cigarettes and alcohol - I stole a bit of alcohol! I was so drunk! But I would definitely go back in - it was an experience and I loved it. One day was a bit too short but I'm not really a person who likes rules. I'll break the rules because I can't stand rules. But if they asked me I'd definitely be up for it - why not?"
