idk, we seem to be more about the speedy-passing counters that he might be a bit too slow for now, they just never seem to work for us bc someone like Walcott or Giroud will balls it up somewhere in the build up  hoping Vardy is a good fit for us at least

Boring James Milner ‏@BoringMilner 1h1 hour ago

I saw Jamie Vardy popping a bottle of champagne earlier. Wonder what he was celebrating.

Liverpool transfer news and rumours: Reds linked with surprise move for Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs

 Take him, you can have him.

Drew. 05-06-2016 07:59 PM

will he or wont he

Shaun 05-06-2016 08:38 PM

Gibbs leaving and Rodriguez incoming is like throwing up a Rustlers burger before tucking into a steak.

Drew. 05-06-2016 08:38 PM

a ****ing good steak

Some sources claim he had a medical today.

Vardy medical today, Wenger wants Mkhitaryan, defender return

Imagine if we get turned down by Vardy though lol

If he was confident in joining then this would be wrapped up by now, definitely something going on

GiRTh 05-06-2016 09:30 PM

Surely a no brainer for him. More money, more likely to get in the England team, no one else looking at him at this stage. That might change after the Euros, of course.

Drew. 05-06-2016 09:33 PM

I don't think it'll hinder his chances playing for England.. i think his concern will probably be the amount of first team football he's given. He's the star man at Leicester whereas he won't be here, he won't even be guaranteed a starting place

Denver 05-06-2016 09:33 PM

Liverpool will never sign Gibbs plus Chilwell is already close to happening

I get what you're saying but I was more referring to our players who get in the England team even when they dont deserve it. *Walcott* *Gibbs* and gotta say I'm surpised Wilshire walked into the Euro squad even though he hasnt played a full game for us for almost two years. Danny Drinkwater cant be pleased.

Drew. 05-06-2016 10:01 PM

I get you. Drinkwater being cut was understandable.. lacks the experience at international level and looked poor in the appearances he made, way to much of a gamble for tournament. I still don't think Vardys place will come under threat with a dip of form at Arsenal or even Leicester, he's shown he can do it. But yeh, i don't think this is playing a part with his thoughts tonight.. it's probably all about his reputation and fear of becoming hated by Leicester fans, the money and game time he'll get.

If this new contract Leicester offering him is enough money i could see him staying put

GiRTh 06-06-2016 02:05 PM

Riyad Mahrez to Arsenal with Jamie Vardy?

Alf 06-06-2016 02:10 PM

I'm not happy for Ronald Koeman taking over us as manager, I've never forgive him for knocking us out the 94 World cup, he brought a summer of misery to us that year.

He's idolised by the Leicester fans, and he'll already earn enough money to live well for the rest of his life, so it shouldn't be about the money.

The European nights at Leicester are gonna be huge occasions with an electric atmosphere, I'd want to be part of that, instead of worrying if you're gonna start or not for Arsenal.

GiRTh 06-06-2016 03:44 PM

If he signs then I think he'll play alot of games for Arsenal. I cant see a 20 plus goal a season man being ousted by 13 goal Giroud or 5 goal Walcott, but then again Wenger has made much stranger decisions lately. :joker:

I agree with you though, the best move fro him is probably to stay at Leicester but he seems a hungry player . He' proved he can match the best strikers in th Premiership , he's proved he can play at the highest level but can he be the top man at a club like Arsenal. It would be quite challenge for hm if he goes for it.

Totally agree. At least stay another season & defend the title. If that team could stay together then they could do well.
I think it would be a shame for the fans to see that squad ripped apart so soon.

Denver 07-06-2016 09:55 AM

Higuain to Liverpool?

Agree with this, it's interesting that he is dragging his heels, him going will also see a few more leave, shame really

Shaun 07-06-2016 12:12 PM

I've got a hunch he'll stay in the end, can't say I'm really arsed either way at the moment

Drew. 07-06-2016 12:14 PM

I wasn't all that fussed about Vardy until seeing this, god help us

Face it Shaun, he's leading the line next season
