It was actually quite nice to see Jason and Jayne chatting on live feed. Now the witch is gone I think these two could be friends.

Jason was being a bit of a knob tbh..I HATE when people behave like they are above being nominated for whatever reason

I was thinking this.

Then got angry when they tried to explain themselves

It wasn't that clear cut though was it he did have a point he wasn't bothered about being nommed if it had been that he had been an arsehole or nasty to anyone, his objection was he had been nommed solely due to the relationship thing and looking at who nommed him and why,it doesn't take rocket science to work out what had gone on,wouldn't you be pissed a bit? he tried to explain and all you could hear was the screeching women.

Oh dear :pat:

Idk if she "put him in his place" but it was good of her to point out that nominations weren't strictly to do with Charlie or just one thing. His anger was a little short-sighted and it was important she let him know of the bigger picture (and their chat later on in the kitchen seemed to wrap up whatever tensions they had anyway - even with Charlie in the Pod, Jayne said that Jason was a good person)

If it was all about the relationship though, it would still be a valid reason as their relationship was making everyone damn uncomfortable.

Jason's ego though thinking he was up just because of Charlie

From the nomination reasons, it seems he actually was? From what I remember anyway...2 girls (Laura and evelyn I think) nominated because of Charlie at least...

Same for her actually. It was all about Jason. I recall both Alex and Jackson going on about relationship stuff

So he had a point

The thing that got me was Laytesha ,Georgina,Laura and Evelyn were saying how lovely he was infact at one point I though Evelyn fancied him,you don't go from that to them nominating him for no reason, I didn't see that Jason has changed in any way,so something must have been said to them,I think it was the sudden turn around in them that made him question it.He did get too annoyed but if that's his only fault he's still a good guy to me.

Most of what they know about Jason and Charlie is the relationship and the details are limited. Jason is the most secretive of the two so some people may have found possible fault there.

Both in still in a codependent relationship (broken up or not) and so are both instigators and so the littlest things get blown out of proportional. They both each get their share of blame in it and I think it just finally came to a head and there were just nominated them just to encourage them to stop the excessive nature of it... it's been very awkward for the public to watch, so probably 100x more awkward to live with.

I understand where you are coming from though, nobody wants to be defined in there by an ex and that relationship, but Charlie, her issues withstanding, could not shake the "evil ex" label the entire time there and that had to be difficult. She was emotionally unable to let go and it doesn't feel good to feel like you are being treated as a "potential problem" to avoid in the house which was 75% Jason's way of approaching things. That's clearly how he felt, but that doesn't make it any easier on Charlie and you can understand why her friends voted to nominate him. It still is not fair to give them flack for what happened outside the house but it was 50/50 brought on by them both making it an ever-present issue inside the house.

This is why I think it's always best to just stay out of other people's relationships. Most of the HM's probably felt it was their issue to deal with which is probably why they didn't get as many votes as Chelsea.

He was only bothered because they only put him up after Charlie trying to turn housemates against him. She did that in spite because he rejected her.

Even if they did nominate him for it he must have some ego to think it's impossible somebody just finds him annoying or false. ..It must be Charlie's fault
