Really good!
That's 300K up on CBB16 first 4 days which got 1.94! |
Bad for last night.... clearly dented by the Olympics which got 7m during BB was on.
9pm Reality Shows - inc. +1 channels Eden (C4): 790,000 / 3.5% series low Celebrity Big Brother (C5): 1.4m / 6.4% Source: Broadcast That 1.4m will most likely be ~1.8-1.9m. That's terrible for Eden. |
It's a shame because it was a really good episode as well.
|
Should still be up on last year which got 1.54M with +1.
Last nights episode was great, I think with Lewis most likely going tonight it will be more enjoyable to watch as I can't stand him after the Heavy D thing and everything. |
I think this series has potential to be amazing, because there's only a few housemates who are running it at times and there probably not going to last long.

Saira and Heavy don't really stand of chance of going by the Tellymix poll:
Heavy D - 1200 Saira Khan -1079 Bear - 905 Lewis - 617 So definitely between Bear and Lewis. |

I reckon Bear and Lewis will be safe :( |

Not always in the final though. It would be annoying if they are safe. |
Channel 5 (exc. +1)
Celebrity Big Brother: 1.52m (7.2%) Should make it 1.7m with +1, big jump from Monday. |

Including +1:
Endeavour (Repeat): 2m (9.5%) Celebrity Big Brother: 1.7m (7.9%) An Hour to Save Your Life: 1.5m (7.2%) First Dates: 940k (5.7%) The Job Interview: 706k (3.3%) Borderline: 380k (2.1%) Good rating for CBB. Ouch at Job Interview and especially Borderline! |
It deserves crap ratings for such a diabolical series.
|
Including +1:
Celebrity Big Brother: 1.6m (6.9%) CBB continues to post solid ratings even up against Olympics which peaked at 8.1m at the time of the diving which aired at same time, despite CBB not being well received it's doing very well. I'd predict tonight being at around 1.7m and then the same for the eviction. Interesting to note, the last big Olympic clash which got the same sort of peak (around 8m), had CBB fall to 1.4m on Monday, so it seems that 200k more people were willing to watch BB last night. Built up an audience since Monday? Strange. It beat both C4 and BBC2... c4 Britain's Benefit Tenants: 1.1m (5%) bbc2: Versailles: 961k (4.2%) |
Including +1:
The Cruise (Repeat): 1.8m (9.2%) Celebrity Big Brother: 1.7m (8.2%) 999: What's Your Emergency?: 1.4m (7%) Paul O'Grady's Animal Orphans (Repeat): 1.3m (6.4%) Great for CBB and healthy share. |
Renee's immunity bringing in the viewers :clap1:

Looks like the huge Olympic ratings and peaks damages everything.
Channel 4 (exc. +1) 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown: 0.96m (4.7%) Friday Night Dinner: 0.76m (4.1%) Amazing Spaces: Shed of the Year: 0.76m (3.8%) Channel 5 (exc. +1) Celebrity Big Brother: Live Eviction (9pm): 1.43m (7.1%) Celebrity Big Brother: Live Eviction (10.30pm): 1.37m (8.0%) It's Not Me, It's You: 0.57m (3.0%) That should be around 1.6m for the first show and 1.5m for the 2nd. First show is down 100k from the first 2 evictions however the interview show was up on Grants last Friday despite a huge Olympic peak against it. |

Says a lot about that panel show  |
Quote:
Last Friday there was a bigger drop from 1st show to 2nd show for Grants, but the majority came back last night (tbh it was a MUCH better eviction last night!) |

BBC 1
19:00-22:00: Olympics 2016 - 6.04m 22:30: Match of the Day - 3.08m BBC 2 19:30: BBC Proms - 990k 21:30: Edinburgh Nights - 410k 22:10-23:55: Olympics 2016 - 3.61m ITV (exc. HD & +1) 19:15: Catchphrase - 2.10m 20:00: The Nation's Favourite 80s Number One - 1.47m 21:30: Film: The Bourne Identity - 720k Channel 4 (exc. +1) 22:00: Film: Gladiator - 530k Channel 5 (exc. +1) 19:00: Cricket on 5 - 510k 22:30: Celebrity Big Brother - 980k BBC 4 19:00-22:00: Olympics 2016 - 930k It's not surprising that it was low, that will be around 1m with +1. Having it on so late IMO is ridiculous. Saturdays are bad enough for BB in the last 17 year, to put it up against the Olympics (well it was inevitable) and Match of The Day on such a late slot, I actually expected less, especially considering CBB beat both Channel 4 and ITV. Despite the later start and the competition, it was still up on last summers 3rd Saturday which got 940k. Tonight... 1.6m? That's where I reckon it will stay to the end. |
