I really don't want it to seem like I'm moaning or whatever bc admin/mods have been good to me in the sense that I have done some awful things in the past and they've still allowed me chances to rectify my behaviour (and hopefully I have and this isn't an attack so please don't view it as one) but like I understand where Tom is coming from as he does seem to make a lot of suggestions for the forum and most of it he's just told no for. He seems to work hard to suggest things that could improve the forum and usually just gets a 'we work hard on this forum how dare you criticise' response when I genuinely don't think he means any harm by it. He loves the forum evidently and I don't think he'd want to criticise James/Josy/the moderators he's just possibly a bit frustrated that his ideas don't come to fruition.

I still do that if I want it but it's because I genuinely have no idea how to do it :laugh:

I don't think josy meant your posts inparticular. Just C&G posts ARE mainly gifs, one word posts of ILY type stuff, especially in the chat threads.

I wonder how many members would leave due to embarrassment if we added C&G posts to their totals and it turned out they had like 300k posts in a few years :suspect:

Yeah it's great that Tom makes suggestions for the forum and others do too but none of ideas get 'shot down' that's just not being fair, most of the time if we don't agree with suggestions we give perfectly good reasons why but no matter what we say it always turns into a slanging match saying that we don't ever add anything at all which again just isn't true.

I only just 'got' how to post youtube videos properly without having to search for the youtube vid thread each time. I am too much of a dinosaur for this place now I think :laugh:

Christ the threads I make in c&g are 99% rubbish that I genuinely would not want my post count to gain from.

I need all the help I can get not to add anymore posts to my post count :worry:

It still takes me a good five tries to get it right, and that's if I make it far enough without giving up and deleting the post. :laugh:

...awww, this isn't fair, Tom..it really isn't...you've said about game hosting etc getting insulted and no thanks for doing it and giving your time but who gives more time to the forum than staff/admin and voluntarily also and it isn't for themselves ..and it's really a thankless thing because there is going to be abuse/insults every which way just by the very nature of it...

...anyways/last post because these things always seem to find themselves with many directing toward particular people and that never feels comfortable..I think the better way is to speak directly in PM to Josy/James about it all anyway and I'm sure that it would always be considered if thought possible and a positive thing...
