I don't think she's too sad, let's put it that way.

He treated her appallingly, and his treatment of Aaron after he won was horrible as well. He was always a bit vicious on the BOTS panel as well. I can't say I'm particularly moved by his passing

Pete. 25-10-2016 01:10 PM

A man has died and his family & friends are mourning. Can't people just chill for a while. Disappointed in Jodie

Braden 25-10-2016 01:20 PM

I really don't blame Jodie for her reaction though. It isn't that bad imo.

Rob! 25-10-2016 01:22 PM

Oh Christ she's such a dick

reece(: 25-10-2016 01:24 PM

The Jimmy Saville comparison was a bit much

Samm 25-10-2016 01:24 PM

Jodie can rot, comparing him to Savile

yeah he was so mean on a reality tv show <\3

Braden 25-10-2016 01:32 PM

I don't think Jodie was comparing Pete's actions to Jimmy Saville, but just commenting on the fact that people shouldn't have to pay respects when they die.

I think Pete was a legend, but he was a cutthroat personality. Not everyone is going be unhappy that he's passed. Pete wouldn't have give a **** anyway.

Exactly I doubt he would give two hoots and neither would he want people fawning over him and making out he was a saint when he really wasn't

She didn't do anything wrong though, but i don't blame her for not saying anything because Pete was really vile towards her.

A reminder of when Pete ended Madonna/Mariah/Xtina etc

To think we've gone from Dennis Rodman and Michael Barrymore dancing and singing along to this classic in 2006 to Chloe Goodman from ex on the beach pretending she knows Kavana's biggest hit

Difference between not staying anything and blasting people for being too nice about him. She should just keep quiet if she has any dignity surely? It's in incredibly bad taste

y.winter 25-10-2016 02:09 PM

She didn't express joy over him dying. She just said the obvious (responding to someone) that she finds it weird that people praise him for his behaviour on cbb when she clearly experienced something else. She didn't say Saville=Burns. It's like avoiding the sentence and the context and focusing on specific words.

her reaction wasn't even that bad lol and she could have said bad things about him on tv but she declined which was for the best because after the way he treated her she hasn't got anything good to say about him because he isn't a saint. It was Karen who mainly blasted the nice things, Jodie just tweeted. They are allowed to say what they want.

Amy Jade 25-10-2016 02:26 PM

I think Jodie's views are totally valid and I appreciate her being so honest - infact I find it odd fans of Pete, a pretty rude and abrupt person, are so offended.

Just because he's dead doesn't mean how horribly he treated her becomes non existent. Fans of reality tv wanting somebody to be fake?

Marsh. 25-10-2016 02:31 PM

Ffs Jodie, it was ten years ago. Move on instead of using his death as a way to get an extra two minutes of fame.

Nobody's a bloody saint, but not everyone uses someone's death as an excuse to rake up the past and get attention. Yes, he treated her terribly on CBB ten years ago as he did several of the other housemates. But it's hardly of any relevance anymore.

If she was using his death for a few minutes of fame surely she would have accepted the tv interview offer?

You believe that out of all of the people associated with Pete Burns throughout his entire life/career they'd choose Jodie Marsh to interview after his death? I don't.

Cal. 25-10-2016 02:36 PM

Let's not pretend Pete wouldn't be doing the same if Jodie had dropped dead lmao

He'd hate it to know she'd been singing his praises just because he died

I absolutely agree his treatment of Jodie and Aaron was appalling, but a little bit in his defense re Aaron's BB, if I remember rightly he did apologise to Aaron for that, as like many Celebs he seemed to be toeing the BB line at that time. Lauren Harries was even worse to Aaron, so glad she didn't win.

Pete Burns was a troubled Soul and I do find it sad that he died so young.

Oh I didn't know that Suze, he was a great housemate but in my view deserves no more or less respect than any other celeb who died before their time.
