that's not very good

isn't that what civilian bb episodes get? or have they dropped even lower these days :oh:

It's a shame cause this series has been going well so far and I don't want them to spoil it, nor do I want them to blame the All Stars (although they could've picked a better bunch) and decide never to do it again :idc:

I think it's a combination of the Bear effect, that most of the line-up is kind of unknown, a lot of All Stars are from summer series' or series' from a long time ago and the lack of live feed and updates.

Crimson Dynamo 09-01-2017 05:04 PM

Ironic as it's really good. DM online is sticking with it doing lots of sidebar articles so hopefully it will pick up?

Agree Bear killed it for many

Mrmattybeck 09-01-2017 05:05 PM

Agree bear victory will have put people off same happened when Helen won bbuk

Pretty much,

BigBruddah17 09-01-2017 07:54 PM

Can see this being a CBB version of BB16 tbh. A good first part with airtime spread out over the cast but poor ratings will welcome us to a monstrosity that will reign the rest of the series :(

BigBruddah17 09-01-2017 08:47 PM

I think C5 have realised their mistake with 2 CBB's a year now

*mazedsalv** 10-01-2017 02:23 AM

Tonight is the challenge, if it can't recover towards the high 1s, then it will be in a little bit of trouble...not too much because I am sure officials will add like half a million.

It's ok. Apparently it was heavily affected by the voice but gained lots of viewers after that was finished. Officials should add a lot more.

I still struggle to understand why it is down a bit on last year's as i was ecstatic hearing the allstars rumours and I loved the episodes so far.

Yes Viacom made a big Error
not putting it , after that show.

They knew it was on that night.

Same I'm expecting something to happen Friday if ratings don't pick up

1.57m excl +1. (7.1%)

That's better. Not great but better.

Jake. 10-01-2017 09:03 AM

Comparison to the other ratings the channel got last night

Extreme Sea Monsters: 0.96m (4.4%)
Deep-Sea Super Predator (R): 0.81m (4.0%)

Rob! 10-01-2017 09:10 AM

To rise 570k since Saturday is nothing to be sniffed at tbf

supertv247 10-01-2017 10:35 AM

The consolidated ratings for this series will be really interesting. Last years officials were sometimes astonishing, adding near 1 million at times.. I'm just wondering if that's where the numbers have gone for this series.

Celebrity Big Brother: 1.45m (6.6%) excl +1

Jake. 11-01-2017 08:57 AM

Can't defend that. These are summer CBB ratings at best. Will have to see how much was added on plus 1.

Shame, was a fantastic episode.

sampvt 11-01-2017 09:00 AM

1 mil for a tosspot no longer there and jedward and speidi missing off our screens isnt helping. all we are getting is a fake, over dramatic gay guy with anger issues. hardly compelling viewing.

BB-Germany 11-01-2017 09:29 AM

When are officials coming?

Gstar 11-01-2017 09:34 AM

I swear BB13s first week rated higher

supertv247 11-01-2017 10:50 AM

1.6 million including +1.
Down 830k on last January (although that was Davids dead) - but still around 500k down on most episodes around that as well... Inexcusable

Officials for the first week will be in on Monday. Fingers crossed they save it a little

Denver 11-01-2017 10:55 AM

A huge turn off will be the need to show constant arguments

Mrmattybeck 11-01-2017 10:59 AM

Can't t be long till a dramatic 4 in 4 out twist surely very poor numbers

the producers have absolutely no choice but to remove one of the most boring celebrities, potentially meaning he has to give up his massive $1m fee, just as it becomes clear that the ratings are dire and ben frow is screaming down the phone at them to do something about it

wow they sure are lucky huh, what a coincidence
