Whoever said the Everley Brothers gets a thumbs up from me, but a thumbs down for thinking they stood any chance of being a top answer.

I considered both Simon & Garfunkel and The Everly Brothers but i didn't think anyone on here would say them

Thank you :)

That's me sent in my round 3 and 4 answers.

A little bit more tricky those two rounds.

Good look to me, I'm sure you all agree?

Same, I checked the charts website because I had no idea what to put  And I was torn between Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Black Eyed Peas for the other one but I remembered you talking about loving them a while ago so I guessed that you'd put them and I'd get at least one extra point

I'd say Like A Prayer is Madonna's most famous song though.

I said Simon & Garfunkel. :hee: I considered Pet Shop Boys and thought of Hall & Oates first.

Behave, It was a controversial song because of the video, but Like a Virgin will always be the first song associated with Madonna. I'd even say both Material Girl and Vogue are more Iconic Madonna.

I reckon if you're older and actually remember those songs coming out, you would think of Like a Virgin first but if you don't you would think of Like a a Prayer because it was a better song

That's why it's remembered though, because of the controversy. I've never really heard Like A Virgin get talked about personally, or at least not to the extend of Like A Prayer.

That's true as well I think, I'm not really a Madonna fan but Like A Prayer is a great song so it stands out more because of that

Ashley. 09-12-2016 03:34 PM

Damn, missed the last round... I didn't realise this game would move so quickly.

Yeah, it's my second favourite of hers actually (after This used to be my Playground) but still the very first song I thought of was Like A Virgin

I thought of Material Girl first, but didn't put it because it didn't get to Number 1. Vogue would have been my second choice.

Madonna doesn't have a signature song because she's been around for so long
