If you would care to point me at where ive lied i will be all to willing to apologise but I should be allowed to offer opinions devoid of goading and trolls harassing me just because they dont agree with my views. After all, isnt that what the forum is all about.

I don't understand what you're going on about and I'm not even sure you do at this point since I haven't accused you of lying.

You're confused on the issue of a right to an opinion. You are allowed an opinion but people aren't required to respect or agree with it. They are allowed their own opinions without you trying to call them trolls or accusing them of goading you because they have a differing opinion. The right to an opinion is not a shield from criticism.

Opinions are a two way street, Sam. Everybody has a right to them, not just you.

Whether we agree or disagree on issues,I always love to read your posts.

Over this series you have made some excellent points.
On this issue you already have and the above post says so much of those excellent points, in a fair and balanced way too.

Your own personal shared experience is really thought provoking.

Thank you Joey. I enjoy reading what you have to say also.

I think you are wasting your time with the negative poster. Leave him to make himself look bad, claim everyone is picking on him, then sulk off. Oh look there he goes.

It was john and edwards father who made the decision not to inform his children, which he has every right to do.
It is not an uncommon or strange decision to make either.

My dad died of pancraitic cancer and didnt tell anyone he had it until the final 2 months. We all respected his decision. Why wouldn't we as its his life and he will alqays be our dad.

Anyway, hes out of hospital now so it couldnt have been as bad as you all thought and it is all just sensationalised by the papers.

Especially when you see which rag latched onto and sensationalised it a bit more than need be. That said, I am glad their Dad is out of hospital and on the mend, must be a weight of the family's minds.

So since Friday he's gone from life support to being discharged :joker: as if they would have attended the wrap party if his life was in danger

That's very good news. I can't find any reference to that though, could you post a link?

Kizzy 05-02-2017 05:03 PM

Thanks parmnion. It says he is out of ICU yesterday, not out of hospital, which means any danger has passed. That must be a great relief for the family.

What if there was no planes or ferries running till the next day?

It was probably only a sore dialing finger.
