freedom of speech? Mother nature gave us a tongue. If one is offended, get over it, simple. I've taken offence at many things in my time but just had to get over it and move on. I suppose if we all bite our tongue there won't be any arguments, glory be, perish the thought. People need to 'man up' or should I say 'people up' don't want to be seen as sexist, I might offend *tut*

EU leaders throwing a temper tantrum now saying that they are planing to break up the united states of america, just shows that their united states of europe dream is over, and now they think that they can bring down america now, I don't think so.

Yeah they want the divorce bill to be first on the agenda.I don't think it will be though as we want to see what our future relationship is going to be before we settle that.
I think that'll be something they keep going back to throughout

if they won't start talks until the bill is paid how is that impasse going to be overcome.

The EU has put the future of Gibraltar at stake in the coming Brexit negotiations, effectively backing Spain in its centuries-old dispute with the UK over the British overseas territory.

After lobbying from Spanish diplomats, a clause has been inserted in the EU’s draft Brexit negotiating guidelines that appears to allow Spain to exclude Gibraltar from any transitional single market access arrangement or future trade deal with the UK if it is not satisfied with the status of the territory.

If they're allowed to do that then we should be allowed have a similar arrangement with NI

doubt that spain will get Gibraltar back, because spain has no sovereign powers as a country to take back Gibraltar, because they are members of the EU, and that means its brussels, who call's the shots, when spain get's gibraltar back or not, and the fact that the EU can't demand a high money settlement for britain to leave and then ask for the uk too give back Gibraltar, no way, can the EU get both things, that's to big of a bargan chip for the uk and the EU, the EU has to accept two things, one, let britain leave and give up gibraltar, and not pay a euro coin to brussels, two, uk keeps gibraltar, and pays the big settlement money to leave, and we all know what the EU wants more than ever, and its not some rock that you can't see on a map.

So the UK has to negotiate before they can start to negotiate, so much for EU not having the upper hand

The EU are flexing their muscles and showing Great Britain just how difficult the process is going to be, they have already scuppered talks starting and I think this is just the beginning of what is in store for May et al

You have to remember that the EU doesn't really have the upper hand. They need a good deal with us.We are the EU's largest single export market.EU leaders are under huge pressure from businesses and the electorates of the individual countries to get a good deal with us.All the bluster beforehand will take a backseat i think when it comes down to negotiations. The last thing the EU needs is us to say 'no deal' and walk out.

I agree with that. Also these bulling tactics from the EU are pretty disgusting in my opinion - the EU are the biggest sulkers and foot stumpers of all. They are determined to try and make an example of the UK in order to scare other countries from opting out. Such desperation does little for their cause in my opinion.
