This is why no outside contact is important. I hope they work on soundproofing the studio and the house by the civilian big brother.

Unfortunately this was the one eviction where the housemates were right by the doorway leading to the exit stairs so could hear the crowd noise much more easily than if they were in the garden lounge.

I agree... you hate her for the lie... but you love to hate her as its funny to see her showing off to the camera whilst she thinks everyone is on her side when really they are not on her side...

I just hope it dont happen to me if I was in there... but I think if she would have stayed it woud have been better for her as she could of learnt and changed... become a better person... now she has just run away, it only makes her look worse!... shes lots her chance of redemption!

annabelindabee 01-09-2018 12:51 PM

If I would have a say I think Emma should walk into a sound proof box room when talking to the housemates... as no contact with the outside world... should no contact with the outside world... not even on launch night...

But you could hear the crowd chanting through Emma's microphone even though she was in the studio away from them.

I doubt they persuaded her to leave but I also doubt they did anything to stop her from leaving. It was pretty clear that she wasn't well enough for BB, so getting her out of there was the best thing for her.

THIS is what happens when the public reaction interferes and influences the housemate's behaviour, I understand why people are infuriated with her but now there'll be no more press attention, no on-screen interview with her, and it'll just go back to only us talking about the show. There was a very real (albeit slim) opportunity here to save the franchise, it hasn't got this much coverage in years....no one is going to care now, the show will still be axed and it's all that crowd's fault

ugh i was so ready for the eviction interview, why was crowd noise fed into the house ?? i swear for the previous evictions this series it hasn't

armand.kay 01-09-2018 03:52 PM

so people were thirsty for her to hear the crowd, now she's walked because of it and they're not going to get the satisfaction of seeing her get evicted to boos before being grilled by Emma

:joker:

Or any natural, unrehearsed interview full stop

Or more press attention for the show

Or a contract renewal

But she heard the chants, that's all that matters!

Everything you say is right but in a way i'm relieved. It's obvious from last night that Emma would've treated her with kid gloves when really she ought to be hooked. That would've infuriated me. She doesn't deserve a pity party.

To be fair, the producers are in a bit of an awkward situation here where a housemate has complained that they feel threatened and were assaulted - and they have no choice but to do something. To then imply she's a liar in her interview would've been a stretch also, so you're right in some respects - but the fact they showed Ben the clip makes me think they would've done the same for her and asked her to give her unprompted, unrehearsed, natural reaction - and see if she'd stick to her scipt

Now there will be none of that, if (and it's a big if) she ever does an interview, it'll be PR driven, rehearsed, with plenty of time to prepare, and full of bull****. What good is that to anyone? The consequences of that scummy crowd are enormous, not only have they ruined the series but they've taken away any chance for her to be held accountable

Denver 01-09-2018 05:12 PM

Apparently the door was so heavy when she pushed it she is now in a coma

Yep you are 100% right. But they also saw everything we did and to give him a formal warning was a stretch too far. I'm no Ryan fan but the poor guy's head was in bits.

The producers did make an outright mess of it but is anyone surprised? Nah. "Hands up who wants Ben to go" Or like a competent programme it then goes to the viewers vote :conf:

I honestly didn’t see her walking over her hearing the chants I thought she’d tried to rationalise it and the house would be too cowardly to pick her up on it h o w e v e r Sally delivered, I guess?

Emma was clearly disgusted by Roxanne's behaviour on bots last night and Emma isn't exactly the best at staying impartial during interviews. Her interview with Roxanne was guaranteed to be a tense one

Hmmm, interesting how people see things differently. I thought the part when Emma said maybe it brought back something that has happened to her brought back memories was Emma making excuses for her. The same Roxy who jabbed Ben in the stomach earlier :nono:

My thoughts exactly .

Emma would of treated Roxanne like fragile glass ,the interview would of been cringy. I'm glad we've been spared .
