Hey, sorry havent had a chance to read the thread - just finished watching the episode and feel really tense and uncomfortable. That was horrible -Im thinking Lewis F shouldn't drink. It really doesn't suit him - his chance of winning has gone - My estimation for Akeem has gone up, he handled himself for so long against jibs and jabs and then an onslaught that day. It was all the hot tub argument that was plain nasty - so wish Cian didnt apologise and really had a go at those two C+L. they need someone telling them that they re two really bitchy negative mean boys. What a horrible episode. Someone said at the beginning its better without the drink - they should give them music or something to make the atmosphere better. That was a downer of an episode.

Come on. Lewis G seemed like an old east cockney to me! I dont notice anyones race etc in there and I doubt they do.

They were equally trying to wind each other up. Akeem raised his voice first. Akeem was MORE physically confrontational than Lewis (sitting up, coming forwards towards him, gesturing etc.) and also was first to do so. They were both being equally loud and aggressive by the end of it, and they were both making points that were more or less true.

Also this idea that Lewis was "brandishing a wine glass" in a threatening way is flat out ridiculous - he was playing with it WELL BEFORE the argument started! I have to ask - do people know that they're deliberately exaggerating when they say these things? Or does negative bias towards someone actually twist perceptions so that it seems like the truth?

IMO the two people who came out of this looking the worst were actually Cian and Cameron. There was literally NO need for Cian to jump into the mix... it did feel like he was just unable to see a drama going down and then not be involved... and he got disproportionately angry about it when he was told that, stomping around and screeching. Just... why? It wasn't his argument.

But then, Cameron, in pointing that out, I feel was being a massive hypocrite because it wasn't his argument either. He has sort of involved himself as Lewis's "backup" in a totally unecessary way... Cian and Cameron should both have stayed out of the argument.

Isabella I dunno. During the argument itself Lewis wasn't in the wrong with her, all he did was ask her not to get involved, and not aggressively. He was a bit harsh with her afterwards. But she was also saying some odd things about "not raising voices etc. when there's a girl there"... which I don't really get at all? Why would that make a difference?

I was answering Adams post suggesting Lewis F is racist and doesn't like people from different countries:shrug:

big brother are always doing this. put 3 HMs who dont get on together in a task where there are bound to be differences, add some booze, in this case they must have been drinking through the afternoon until night, then livht the fuse & stand back & watch the sparks fly. it went beautifully for BB. no doubt there were big regrets the next morning. not condoning lewis, akeems or camerons behaviour but that would never had happened had it not been for the placing them 3 together in a task that allowed them to drink wine throughout

I liked Cameron before but Lewis's influence has made Cameron drop like a stone in my opinion.

What bash him with a plastic glass , thats like a toy gun. Bang Akeem yer dead.

Yup. Well played BB, well played

They clearly wanted the drama, as you say. Also they did not crap themselves and call one of them to the diary room at the first sign of a raised voice. Unusual behavior for them I think. Maybe they think 'screw the ofcom complainers' and are just trying to get as much cash as possible out of the last series they will have...they should have thought this the whol;e way through really. People will complain to ofcom over the smallest thing. I do think the compainers are a large part of the reason BB is 'ruined' now tbh

This 100%. I feel like the stuff they’ve been doing the past week have been pulling all the stops to try and milk some controversy from the series. A good controversy is what keeps big brother alive and it’s really been lacking this series

I find it odd that some people are implying it could have turned violent. it didnt so dont go putting thoughts in peoples heads. in the past when arguments have got heavy BB call the HM who is most wound up to the DR, chat with them, dicuss their behaviour. BB didnt do that either. so stop turning it into something that it clearly wasnt. yes it was heated, but no one crossed the line. in the past also, when there has been a massive row, we all just love it dont we. its probably a big part of what makes the series special. remember series 5, now that did turn hostile

tanussa 12-10-2018 04:04 PM

just been on twitter & a hell of a lot were annoyed at akeem for starting the row by saying to lewis that the wrong lewis was evicted. obviously that wasnt said with good intent but solely to wind lewis up. the public anger is not all aimed at lewis

Elliot 12-10-2018 04:11 PM

Most of it is. Every yt video and tweet and Facebook post is littered with criticism of Lewis and cam, astonishingly large number of people defending Isabella

That's reassuring. But I still think Lewis & Cameron will get to the final :yuk: .

The complainers is the reason the show is ending. They've killed the show, with their moaning about everything.
It wasn't like this before. The fights were worse and no one went to bloody ofcom.

Exactly, I think Lewis detractors would prefer that to be erased from the show so they could re-write their own narrative. The was the turning point and Akeem was wrong for saying that. I still like him though.
