A lot of Trump's promises have gone up in smoke, a lot of Bernie's policies are rooted in reality and benefit the working and middle classes. Bernie's policies will resonate more with voters than the proven lies or Trump.

Bernie would have won last time and I think he'd stand a good chance this time, Joe Biden is the more reliable candidate but either of them could win against Trump who will likely be down and out by 2020.

If the DNC hadn't fallen over backwards to ensure Hillary got the nomination then he'd be President right now. Most polling showed that

The Democrats need to get their **** together and fast or they're going to lose again in 2020. And by that I mean not nominating another run-of-the-mill, wishy-washy, neoliberal establishment candidate. Electorates all over the west are fed up with that and the US is no different, it's one of the main reason why Trump ended up in the White House. The political landscape has changed dramatically (and dare I say for the better), and the only thing that's going to defeat him is by fighting fire with fire - with a directly opposed "radical" candidate.

Their call.

But socialist policies wouldn't be a change for the better.

I haven't seen a decent dem candidate yet for 2020, but at this point I don't think they can say yet what the most appropriate candidate would be. Trump may have left office, if he does the GOP will go down with him and the dems will walk it whomever they put up. If Trump is still in office, I don't think it will be a fair election by that point so the dems wont win whatever choice they make. It may be too late for them already

tbh I also think it's Trump's to lose right now - his SOTU speech was pretty good, and garnered a good response. The democrats also need to work on their image - when Alexandria Occasional Cortex appears in the media, it's just embarrassing; she is their version of Dianne Abbott.

No she’s not, AOC is doing fantastically well :nono:

I didn't care. And who turned out to be right in that thread?

(Most likely, story still developing)

Posts have been deleted now, but LT was moaning about how Jussie’s initial doubters were being “bullied”. I asked how there was any bullying going on, and you replied “Someone told me I was taking my sigpic too seriously”.

For someone who claims not to care about it, and then claim it was bullying, is pretty contradictory :suspect:

I didn't say I cared about it, just that it happened.

Well ignoring the obvious sarcasm, you're really disrespectful to a qualified man running for the office

Are you telling me that you weren’t trying to say it was bullying?

I didn't even acknowledge it at the time, because I didn't care. And most of my post you're referring to was on about Alf and LT. I wouldn't necessarily have called it bullying, but it wasn't pleasant behaviour.

Supporting Kamala Harris myself. Interested in Tulsi Gabbard too.

How the hell is Bernie stale and pale?
He is far more progressive than Kamala Harris

You can’t exactly say they were innocent though can you? :skull:

And when you respond to a post asking about bullying by mentioning something that someone said? That is saying that something is bullying, unless stated otherwise

Moniqua 19-02-2019 06:32 PM

i like kamala but she's been really disappointing as of late
