Here we go! 57. Million Reasons // Joanne (track 7) // 2016 Here is another track I'm worried I'm being a little harsh on. It's an entirely pleasant track, and really embodies the 'stripped back' theme Gaga was going for with Joanne. I also ADORE the now-iconic Gaga look that is bound up with Million reasons - the pink suit and cowboy hat look. The vocals are lovely - I can't really criticise any part of the song. It's just... it's a little plain. It was promoted for like FOUR months, and although I can see why it was chosen as the spearhead of Joanne, to my mind it's not even the best balledon the album. The music video is a wee bit messy too. Like, PI was stripped down and ICONIC, whereas MR is just a tad cheap. I must say, she produced some lovely performances during the 37 years she promoted the song for. This one is a highlight: |

"Million Reasons" just got me through in the Tibb on Ice game.

56. La Vie en Rose // A Star Is Born (track 2) // 2018 La Vie en Rose is honestly one of the most stunning vocal performances Gaga has ever done in a studio recording. I just find this track absolutely breathtaking. I decided to not include her jazz records for the reason that jazz and pop is very trying to compare. But it feels right to put La Vie en Rose here. Honestly, it deserves more recognition. Gaga just captures the blissful feeling of young romance so effortlessly on this track. |
I love her cover of that

55. I Don't Know What Love Is // A Star Is Born (track 12) // 2018 Another ASIB which just takes my breath away and hits me right in the feels https://media.tenor.com/images/f18a3...37fb/tenor.gif Gaga and Cooper's voices work here so well. It's plays like a throwback to a time of innocent love. It's just such a heartfelt love song, and the visuals that go with this song in the film are just UGH. |

I always get
C'est toi pour moi. Moi pour toi Dans la vie, Il me l'a dit, l'a jure pour la vie. Stuck in my head :flutter: so good |
54. Dance In The Dark // The Fame Monster (track 5) // 2009 This may be controversial (???) but as I said, I love every track from here on out. I can't deny I've never connected with DITD the same way other stans do, hence it being my second-lowest ranked TFM track. That's not to say it's not a dance anthem. The synths at the beginning are wig-snatching, the chorus is a belter. And some little spoken segments are iconic: "Silicone... saline... poison... inject me baby, I'm a free bitch" "Marilyn, Judy, Sylvia Tell 'em how you feel girls! Work your blond (Jean) Benet Ramsey We'll haunt like Liberace Find your freedom in the music Find your Jesus, find your Kubrick You will never fall apart Diana, you're still in our hearts Never let you fall apart Together we'll dance in the dark" It's a brilliantly creative track, and it's just a banger. I just think a number of other tracks on TFM shine a little brighter. Spoiler: |

I’m gonna take the dragging as testament to the quality of Gags’s discography :hehe:

53. Money Honey // The Fame (track 10) // 2008 Money Honey is a fully-fledged bop! The bassy synths from the start that run through the track  The earworm chorus: "k-k-k-kisses... that's money honey / when I'm your lover and your mistress...that's money honey / when you touch me it's so delicious!" I also love the bridge. The Fame has many great bridges and Money Honey doesn't disappoint: "you know I appreciate the finer things, But it's not what makes me happiest, baby (I can do without it, babe) Your tender loving's more than I can handle Never burn out this candle, baby, baby K-k-KISSES"https://media.giphy.com/media/l0HlB3...PA76/giphy.gif |
52. Fashion! // ARTPOP (track 11) // 2013 Between the gorgeous piano at the beginning and the funky beat that comes in, there's just something so comforting and nostalgic about Fashion! And the above performance with RuPaul gives me my gay life. It's just an all-round solid track, with a great message. "Looking good and feeling fine, SWAY". |
51. Dancin' in Circles // Joanne (track 5) // 2016 There was a period after the release of Joanne where DIC was my BIBLE. Her second best masturbation bop  It's a breezy song with a fantastic instrumental. It's completely different to anything else on Joanne, and tbh, anything else in her discography. I'm still looking for justice for DIC single! Spoiler: |
When you put a song about masturbation on an album dedicated to your dead aunt

50. Sinner's Prayer // Joanne (track 8) // 2016 Highly underrated Joanne track. It's a fantastic dark country piece. The lyrics are brilliant, the production is simple yet effective and Gaga's vocals on the last chorus are really something. Makes me feel some kinda way https://media1.tenor.com/images/b2f1...temid=10212491 |
Worst song on Joanne, being above DiC is criminal
|
49. Highway Unicorn (Road to Love) // Born This Way (track 12) // 2011 Highway Unicorn may be a bit cheesy, and VERY abstract, but honestly, the production is bussy-destroying. That rumbling bassy synth that plays under "she's just an American riding a dream" makes the song an 8 on its own. :flutter: Spoiler: |
