I'm gonna be away for quite a long time next week (starting today really) so this throws a bit of a spanner in the works. Unless people are happy to just send in answers and wait for me to reveal them at the end of my work schedule (I'll apparently be away until Weds, June 5) :worry:
|
but yeah I can't really excuse further time for Jersey since there's been two days of R2 and that's all anyone got in Niamh's game so I'll add up these results now
|
Ah, that's fine sorry about the wait! :worry:
This game is even tougher to come up with answers than the Top Answers one anyway, I wasn't going to finish anywhere near the top  |
unless you can rush one in now, because I've just finished counting up the other scores and am about to post them?
|
think outside the box jersey :dazzler:
|
Ffs Jersey, move your ass.
|
:omgno: oops just read that
Doing it quickly right now if you can wait a few minutes. If not it's fine though. |
Honestly I think being American I can win this round actually :smug: :joker: (sent btw, thanks!)

Round Two: Food & Drink Question One: Name a brand of beer There are probably millions around the world, and therefore it's unsurprising that we kick off another round with a clean sweep :) Spoiler: Question Two: Name a country famous for its wine In hindsight I should perhaps have been more strict with the wording of these questions because, technically, is Georgia really famous for its wine production? I'll allow it and other 'smaller' answers since I wasn't specific, though... Spoiler: Question Three: Name a fizzy soft drink, that isn't Coke (Coca Cola) Someone could've been a smartarse and just answered "Pepsi" here and it would've been allowed! Spoiler: Question Four: Name a type of pasta (Shape) I had to be stricter here because someone rather naively just literally named a shape. Kate!, you submitted "tubular" which I assumed to mean 'penne' because otherwise it would've been a wrong answer. Instead it was just duplicate  Spoiler: Question Five: Name a Red Fruit I think we're probably going to fall out over the definition of a fruit here but there's one that just categorically is defined as a vegetable, sorry  and funnily enough, the other one that's wrongly assumed to be a vegetable was the most popular answer, here. Spoiler: Question Six: Name a green vegetable Again, someone fell foul of the "is it a fruit or a vegetable?" divide :worry: Spoiler: Question Seven: Name an Indian Curry Another option I wish I'd been clearer on, really, since I took this to mean "type of curry" not "name all the ingredients in the curry" Spoiler: Question Eight: Name a traditional English dish Bit of an embarrassing slip-up here, let's not draw attention to it (and no, I don't mean Mitchell using a homophobic slur x) Spoiler: Question Nine: Name a food you'd have with your Christmas Dinner (other than turkey/ham) Some people bypassed the wording of the title and protested "WELL I WOULD HAVE IT, SO IT COUNTS x" and others googled "Danish christmas dinner accompaniments" it seems  Took a lot of strength not to be a miserly Scrooge here and count "gravy" and "vegetarian gravy" as the same thing  Spoiler: Question Ten: Name a flavour of cider (excluding apple) This was basically a complete minefield of everyone naming the exact same ingredients... but in completely different orders  almost a miracle there weren't more casualties here. Spoiler: Question Eleven: Name a pizza topping This round almost put me off pizza. Spoiler: Question Twelve: Name a flavour of crisps It seems "searching discontinued brands" was everybody's friend, here. And one very alarming answer. Spoiler: Question Thirteen: Name 1 of the Revels A couple of you tried to be sneaky and bypass my wording and throw in a discontinued flavour, but the joke's on you because you weren't the only one :p Spoiler: Question Fourteen: Name a flavour of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Honestly this round has been torture with nothing in the freezer. Spoiler: Question Fifteen: Name a flavour of Pringles Some of these sound frankly revolting. Spoiler: Therefore, the scores for Round 2 are... Twosugars - 2 Mitchell - 5 montblanc - 9 Blurryface - 10 Liam- - 10 Owen19 - 10 Tony Montana - 10 Smithy - 11 Calderyon - 12 JerseyWins - 12 thisisdanny - 13 RileyH - 14 Shaun - 15 Adam. - 24 Kate! - 26 Cherie - 27 Ammi - 29 Matthew. - 34 Barry. - 44 Spoiler: |

Loool the American answers coming in clutch for me so that I didn't do too bad :clap1: (philly steak for pizza topping, chicken & waffles crisps, Ben & Jerry's coffee coffee buzz flavor - I believe it's just American? etc.)
|
Oops, I sent my answers for Round 3 already. I'll have to make some edits based on the guidelines
Edit: Ok updated |
So I should have looked at is Rhubarb a fruit instead of trusting my taste buds while eating Rhubarb and Custard
|
Also I hate Shaun for thinking the same as me and going for a dessert for English dish
Hate TS for searching the history of Wine like I did and picked Georgia Hate Calbot for picking a random flavour of Pringles nobody knew about or even wanted |
