So have they just stopped releasing ratings?

Gstar 21-07-2019 02:40 PM

I think we just depend on eachother to post  the daily ratings are almost always on twitter if you search love island ratings in latest tweets

supertv247 22-07-2019 12:32 PM

They have stopped releasing the overnights every day now so they're a lot harder to come by unfortunately :(

All I do know is that it's been over 3m for over a week now, and last Monday was a new series high with 3.65 (although could have been beaten again by now). Officials later today

supertv247 22-07-2019 03:24 PM

Now averaging 5.8 million, Love Island 2019 is officially in line with the most watched series of BBUK, in 2002 when it averaged 5.8 million too (and the final will most likely pull this higher...)

Mon - 5.86m (+2.36)
Tue - 5.85m (+2.65)
Wed - 5.93m (+2.53)
Thu - 5.71m (+2.51)
Frid - 5.70m (+3.00)
Sun - 5.70m (+2.50)

Series Average - 5.8m (+1.8)

Unseen Bits - 1.83m
Aftersun - 1.99m

.

Jason. 22-07-2019 03:55 PM

Just Week 6 averaged 5.8m, the overall series average is currently 5.6m.

Still fantastic ratings though and will probably match BB3's average by the end.

I hope it doesn't have as painful of a decline as BB did when people start to lose interest

I wonder what tricks they'll start pulling in a few years when figures start to drop - fake dumpings? Secret villa next door?

Aaaaaahhhhh LI will be amazingly messy in its later years you can just tell

Tony Montana 22-07-2019 04:03 PM

I'm still surprised that ratings haven't dipped this series compared to last year.

Tony Montana 22-07-2019 04:07 PM

Just goes to show resting your show and reviving it almost a decade later, as well as promoting it well pays off in the end.

Headie 22-07-2019 04:37 PM

The fansites are having a good ol' bitch. HAVE A LITTLE CRY AS WELL :hehe:

I mean they didn’t lie. BB3 got 5.8m overnight, before catchup, streaming etc existed.

Doesn’t take away from the fact that this series of LI is doing amazingly well though

They're just CHALDISH

Jason. 22-07-2019 05:20 PM

Ed Gleave bragging about BB being on air 3 times a year as if that wasn't one of the things that killed the show. :skull:

Gstar 23-07-2019 12:09 AM

When BB returns I want channel 4 to regain the rights to it

Headie 24-07-2019 04:02 PM

I wonder how the Winter Love Island is gonna rate? Higher/lower?

Probably higher or same since the weather will be crap and it’s a bit shorter. I think next summer’s series will decrease as a result though, bc it won’t be seen as unmissable as it was before

Omg bye

supertv247 30-07-2019 09:20 AM

Not a MASSIVE final in the end then -

3.63 million viewers and a 4.05 million peak. The most watched show ever but up only 10k on last year, and not as high as some of the peaks we had around Casa Amor. Still in comparison to anything else, phenomenal numbers

Gstar 30-07-2019 01:44 PM

Weather was nice yesterday and everyone was out (including me) and it still managed to get such a good final rating which will sky rocket in the officials.

A flopless series :clap1:

There basically different shows though, I saw an episode recently and the similarities are pretty much the name and that's it. The format is different I think and had a very different tone.

There even more different than BBUK & US.

Maxxie. 14-08-2019 04:06 PM

Official final ratings - 5.25m
Official average - 5.61m

V. good ratings but ironically the final actually has the lowest official of the entire series.
