You’ll have to resit college now and hope your dad learns to cook in 2 years

So NOW you're blaming Morgan's dad for trying to prepare him something special?

I can't disagree with that. But guilt tripping people for not liking odd combinations of food someone has made for them..is not really going to do much good for the poor and homeless tbh.

What am I to do then, send over my portion of lasagne to a third world country?

And that’s sad, but that still doesn’t change the fact that Morgan doesn’t like cottage cheese? I also would refuse the food

Nobody said world countries but that dish would be loved at a local soup kitchen

But..his dads going to eat it? You are depriving his dad of a meal :fist:

I also find it a little hard to believe that any food left in your house is taken to the soup kitchen, tbh.

People eating things they don’t like woke solve world hunger, if anything, it’s selfish to eat food you don’t like, someone else could have had it

Yes it's TRUE, the government ****ed over many families on the lower end of the pay scale where the parents wont eat so their children would

I've helped out in soup kitchens and any tins or packets that we have not used but are still within date are all shipped of to local charities

Yeah i didn’t eat it, but my dad and his wife both ate half of it collectively, and the rest will go with my dad to work tomorrow to feed himself and his workmates (I’m currently texting them to get making their own sandwiches, but that’s besides the point). There’s no food going to waste.

I’m not sure wrapping up the lasagne in tin foil, placing it in a Tupperware pot, getting a lift to the local soup kitchen and returning would be discreet, I’m sure his dad would think something was up

Denver 19-06-2019 11:18 PM

Some people would be happy if you brought them a £1 tin of beans and bread for £1.50

Millions Adam? Really? People who are not homeless in this country do not know the meaning of the word "starving". They might have little but they have a lot more than those starving kids in Africa.

You see how this works?

Yes thats true. Those same people however, might not be happy with a bowl of lasagne containing a whole tub of cottage cheese.

Where did we say they wouldn’t?

I can’t believe you’re so riled over a portion of lasagne
