If you're going to site two reasons why you think JRM is a "disgusting human being" then you have to think everyone with those views is a disgusting human being or you're taking particular exception to him while excusing everyone else, and that makes no sense.

I am pro choice when it comes to abortion. I think his opinion on abortion is antiquated to say the least... but he has a right to it. Similarly with gay marriage... a religious person might stand against gay marriage while having no problem with gay people... Nothing is really that black and white.

I think the man is sneaky and slimy, his voting record is abhorrent on nearly every issue (naming some... fox hunting, climate change denier, privatisation).
Of course I do not think whole communities are disgusting that's ridiculous but this man, who is given too much (imo) public spotlight is a horrid role model and it is disgusting he has been given such powers! He makes my skin crawl.

A brilliant pair of articles I found which represent my thoughts; https://www.independent.co.uk/voices...-a8194011.html

Just a totally pompous, odious individual.

He is described across the board on the web as a racist homophobic and incompetent buffoon who has little or zero chance of staying Prime Minister long term. He will do no better with Brexit than May did.

I cannot wait for Boris to prove his haters so wrong

I would seriously question where you are getting your information from as it sounds like youtube comments or some such thing?

He never said that? He said he has the right to give his opinion on those people when those threads come up, even when that opinion is not positive.

Someone being intolerant of people receiving EQUAL RIGHTS is not a difference of opinion.

Homophobia seems to acceptable as long as it’s in the name of Christianity apparently, didn’t you know?

Rees-Mogg is someone I'd neither like or respect as a politician or person.

He supports fox hunting, I'd never, nor would want to be around such a supporter of that barbaric act.

His abortion views and anti gay marriage ones too are 2 other strong issues, which would also ensure no liking or support from me.

No time for the man whatsoever, none.

true, i love all animals, so his support for fox hunting is also what i am against

his anti-abortion thing well it's disgusting what he had said about that, in terms of also no abortion for rape victims

and anti gay marriage i'm against, since i support the LGBT community myself

he can be well educated, come from a good upper class family not against all of that, but i mean what i said not liking him, was about his views

Reading through this thread what an eye opener... a better social class...Did I read that right?
What a joke.
This filibuster is a parody, a walking joke. His latest foray as an author is testament to that!
How dare he attempt to instruct others how to form a sentence :/ This great advocate of free speech putting blocking staff from expressing themselves?

There are many with an established British heritage that don't conduct themselves in such an affected manner, his father was a journalist... Let's digest that for a second.
Even if his family had been gifted land by some murderous syphilis ridden king, it is baffling to me how that springboards the status of their modern day decendants...

In the modern era it's not how round your vowels are, your antique taste in suits or the ridiculous sounding names of your children that denotes 'class'.

Are you criticising him? You must be very jealous. That's the only reason one can be critical.
