I genuinely think that the fact that The Irishman has done poorly this whole season is because of it being released to Netflix. The movie snobs in the juries probably hate that enough to dismiss it, despite how grand it is.

Still annoyed Taron Egerton didn't get a shout for best actor.

A friend of mine went there about two-ish years ago and said Hollywood Blvd (where the WoF is) is horrible. He said there are homeless people everywhere (like on the stars sleeping) taking drugs, begging and following tourists, some getting aggressive and violent (some with guns!), urinating/defecating in the street etc those poor people.

Not to mention all of the people trying to sell you souvenirs and what not everywhere (and being very pushy about it). I've watched some YouTube videos about it after he told me because I couldn't believe it but it's true! :shocked:
