Harrison Ford has suffered a shoulder injury while rehearsing a fight scene for the latest Indiana Jones film.

The Hollywood star has returned to the role of the all-action archaeologist at the age of 78.

The fifth and final movie in the series has been filming in the UK in recent weeks and is due for release in 2022.

Film studio Disney did not disclose the severity of Ford's injury, but said the filming schedule would be adjusted over "the coming weeks".

------------

I didn't realise he had a proper action part in the movie, that's crazy

It is Harrison's Ford's birthday today. Also Patrick Stewart.

…Happy Birthday Harrison and Patrick……why didn’t they just film in NY, I wonder….although it does look pretty NY like…

arista 13-07-2021 03:43 PM

Yes Clever Glasgow and NYC 1960's
save some money.

Glasgow cheaper than using NYC

Of course Covid-19 the real reason.

No idea. They always film a lot of "period New York" bits in Liverpool. Must be the architecture, plus I imagine is cheaper.

Glasgow doubled as 1980s Moscow for the Tetris film, in February.

dutch actor Olivier Richters has a role in the new indiana jones film

https://www.telegraaf.nl/images/1200...d1dbdc35d1.jpg

The 32-year-old bodybuilder has been on the set of the highly anticipated sequel for several months, along with big stars such as Harrison Ford and Mads Mikkelsen. The plot of the film has not yet been announced. It is also not clear exactly what role Richters plays.

The now 79-year-old Ford returns in his iconic title role. He first played the world-famous archaeologist in the first movie in 1981 Raiders of the lost ark. Then followed The temple of doom (1984), The last crusade (1989) and The kingdom of the crystal skull (2008).

In addition to Ford, Mikkelsen and Richters, British actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Antonio Banderas also play major roles in the fifth part of the successful film series. The film will be shot in London, Morocco and Italy. Supposed to Indiana Jones 5, which does not yet have an official title, will hit theaters in 2023.

2 meters 18
Olivier Richters has already appeared in quite a few major Hollywood films in recent years. He played a supporting role in Marvel film black widow and stars in the third Kingsman film that will finally be shown in cinemas soon, after a year of corona delay. The actor put himself in the spotlight internationally with his striking height, 2 meters 18, and his imposing physique.

The Dutchman used to be a tall lanky but decided to train hard fifteen years ago; he grew an extra 10 kilos of muscle per year. Richters also founded the successful MuscleMeat website, which specializes in nutrition for athletes. In the Netherlands, the broad actor played small roles in TV series such as GTST, fashion planet and The TV Canteen.

I heard that the plot involves time-travel, and title was 'Thieves of Time' (which sounds better) until they changed it recently, although I can't find another reference online to that.

Back to the Future and Terminator are the only time-travel films I really like, actually. (Some Star Trek too).

Some rumors say it was so bad, that people were absolutely furious coming from the test screenings.

Especially the ending left people reeling.

Have to say, if it is what they are saying it is (that is going to happen), I cannot blame them.

World War 2 Luftwaffe plane at the end, which suggests time-travel.
