I hope it's only a loose adaptation, the book was terrible but then again the first film was a rare case in which the film was better than the book, I thought. The characters in the books are insufferable.

Trolls World Tour has apparently had a $90m release on download, far surpassing the cinema release of the original film. It's a bit of a game changing performance.

Expect studios to follow in their footsteps and forgo the cinema when it comes to non-tentpole releases until all this is over.
